Mandisa can act, her struggle truly reflected society and how pressurised and powerless a woman can get without resources both financial and emotional. This woman deserves an Oscar.
As crazy as Mandisa was they mistreated her though. They failed to support her and she always helped them. Even Ncqoba took his sweet time to do right by her.
Just finished watching the whole episode😢😢crazy how this whole Mandisa’s saga happens in real life in our society …look what greed has done now, the Zulus should have gave Mandisa and her child their inheritance
In Isindebele umuntu kabangwa. Engabangwa uyafa. Ndumiso died when they started fighting over him. The tussle btwn Qhawe n Mandisa symbolises the fight btwn oZulu laye uMandisa which then kills the boy. As far as story-telling goes, great work Stained Glass. Well done!
@@killerbea334life6 in isindebele culture families are discouraged from fighting over people, for example children. The child belongs to the whole family, which should unite and bring up the child together. If you fyt over them they in sm cases fall sick, or into danger n eventually die.
Shhhhew Mandisa's character..wow! This woman can really act! ❤ super emotional scene.. I even cried when she shot herself..it's like I lost someone I knew😪😪
Poor Hlomu, the only thing she’s witnessed from this family is death As for Mandisa, honestly, there was never a happy ending for her whether Nqoba was alive or not, he only respected her to an extent of her being his son’s mother. She set herself up for failure, being a ride or die for a man who never married you, who never considered marrying you, she literally had to beg for the “Hlomu treatment”, so many red flags, starting from how they met, there was no way the Zulu brothers, including Nqoba were going to take her for anything either than the fact that she was Nqoba’s weekend special, the child came along, and they were stuck with her forever.
@Onesimo Belebesi They kept her around because she was Ndumiso's mother, and also because she knew their crimes and where some of the dead bodies were buried.
They really pushed madisa all she ever wanted was to be respected and accepted .this shows what happens in our society when you are Widow madisa should win an award
This is what Masiko does to weman, why is that Masiko always favours the men... Hlomu is being abused and u call the respect because she keeps quite about it.
Guns and Anger......& the poor child whose life has been cut short all because he was born into this crazy family. I hate this episode simply because it is a reflection of what we see and hear about in SA most of the time children are the collateral damage
I don't know how anyone fell in love with the books full of hatred and evil brothers but no cap I used to love the wife to see mandisa and nqobizitha and hear we mandisa wena
The Wife didn't right by this character. She was enduring, surviving and always fighting, akuzange kube kuhle kuye. It's sad... But Zikhona's acting, aai asimyekeni please lo girl👐🏾
I guess I'm still not ready to watch this thing. Hai-ke. The Zulu brothers are supposed to be fair people. Violent, brutal and unreasonable at times, but fair.
things about icharacter mandisa has thought is never to judge because andazi how much it take fill ezihlangu ezinxitywe ngabanyabantu and that life as much as it is unfair it owes us nothing as women will die fighting😭
I definitely feel for Mandisa but I think she should have not escalated this matter so far. The Zulu brothers would have definitely considered her on daily basis. She would have kept the tarven and received monthly allowance. And Ndumiso would have been taken care of. This is a lesson for all.
Her mental breakdown is not her fault, the Zulu brothers are responsible for her mental turmoil. This is one of those stories that resonate so much with our social ills .
So boring, however the Naledi book is also boring so really they don’t have anything much to work with, so they killed off Nqoba’s role only to replace it with Mqoqi, seeing him this disrespectful it’s actually annoying because he is a child after all
Mandisa is wrong because she is the one who talk to Majola men she took Nqoba to take Sambulo chair at the office she agree about every she don't notice they use her
Mandisa set herself up for failure, honestly speaking. It's not what she was fighting for but the way she fought for it. She actually didn't even need to fight so hard and so violently. Had she played her cards right, and "humbled" herself just a little bit - tried to negotiate using her feminine power the right way (because ladies know that there's a way to get things done with just their voice and actions), she would have kept everything. But she chose violence, she chose to fight dirty, disrespectfully, she chose to fight like "a man"... with her ego and pride. Poor Ndumiso. Died for free.
@@EulandaMahlaba very misogynistic indeed. She was driven to a state of mental breakdown. Calculate what being excluded by the Zulu's led to before her death. Took her back to her old demons. A life she often was grateful to have left with the help of Nqoba. I guess gender stereotypes are cruel, her case was a unique case - it surpassed the life of stereotypes, with a whole lot of room for a better turnout. They didnt understand her as they did with the other wives. One thing I applaud the showrunners for is the Zulu family to witness this rather preventable traumatic end to Mandisa's and Ndumiso's life. They deserve to live with that trauma. Anyway we hope showrunners will be able to give us something better than Mandisa. They better not make this cliche, Mandisa as a character derseved better 🖤

Mandisa has carried the last 6 episodes!! Award winning performance by far!! She deserves proper recognition ...
If Zikhona doesn’t get an award for her role ah then I don’t know…
U can say that again. She killed her role
The best in the game 😍🔥 ~BM
I have always said she's breathing art. She's walking art. She will breathe life into a character. Underrated
Zikhona killed the Mandisa role man, whatever emotion she went through, I was there with her. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Mandisa really rocked this performance, she made me cry as if it was really life
