Bhut' omdala holding Mthaniya for the first time since her birth and naming her. 4. Mqoqi, Mpande and Ntsika taunting Sandile at Hlomu's umemulo with that "Weehhh Dokotela" song. 5. Mandisa's speech at Nqoba's funeral. In fact the whole funeral itself was a hot mess and somewhat funny AF. Honorable mention: Qhawe reassuring Naledi that he finds her body beautiful when she tried to cover it. Cutest Qhaledi monent.

When Stain Glass started to write nonsense sis Dudu was not happy at all and they told her to stop coming on set. They had her thinking they would tell a good story but did the complete opposite so it's not her fault

The writers honestly took the plot too far, the show became so convoluted and unrealistic. How could you ruin such a love story when you have the source material right at your feet.
I love that it was so fucked up and they stuck with it 😂😂😂. I actually watched season 3 on fast forward coz I didn't care and valued my time and life more😊. Tbh it was fitting for Hlomu to die at the hands of Mqele. Showed how she kept doing what she had been doing, expecting a different result. She should/could have left and not gone with him. Mqhele was exactly who he was set out to be. Atleast she saved her child from all of the shenanigans as a consolation. Just wish the whole family could have been killed off so we have no hope of something better to come 😅
I never thought a love story was difficult for S.A but here we are. Given a watered down somewhat of a love story and a slap on the face wedding. Season 1 was better than it went down hill after. Tjo
showmax to be honest while seasons 1 and 2 where near perfection, the third season was chaotically written. The wiping out of the Majolas perhaps made it difficult to keep the story interesting as the Zulu brothers did not have strong antagonists to contend with. The story of Xoli also underwhelmed as she felt like a filler character with very little character development. While Naledi is the most beautiful character on the show her love story was nothing compared to Zandile and Hlomu. She seemed confused about her feelings for Qhawe and their love was not meaningfully tested. In the first season Hlomu's and Mqhele's love was tested by Mqhele's abusive violence. In the second season Nkosana moved mountains to be with Zandile. While Naledi's father attempted to be that obstacle between her and Qhawe his role as villain fell flat as he was never a real threat. Because he loved and feared his daughter's disapproval too much. A King in reality will never allow his daughter to go near a thug. Also she fell too easily for Qhawe and she felt more like a peasant commoner than a princess. I have mingled with children of the South African elite in my short stay there. They won't be easily impressed by Qhawe no matter how handsome he may be. Making it very difficult for her to fall in love with Qhawe would have been an interesting story. He would have to almost change his criminal ways and turn his back on his brothers. She openly defied the King her father and did what she want anyways and his disapproval is nothing compared to what Mqhele and Nkasana had to do to be with their wives.
If you've read " Mess" book you'd see that vele in the towards the end of the series lot of characters die. In that book Qhawe and Naledi's love story ends and eventually Qhawe kills himself too because the " Majolas" come back and rape his current partner ( that has a grown baby girl ) hence he decides to commit suicide since he feels he couldn't protect them. I think season 4 would have touched Qhawes life in detail.
