Joe is the reason I picked up the guitar back in 1980. I found a James Gang album at my moms friend`s house. I had no clue what it would be like. I was laughing and rolling on the floor and diggin the tunes as well!!! My journey had begun.
I probably would have gone out with him in the ol days!! I just think he's just incredibly talented and I have loved his music & the eagles always raised my kids on this music 🎶 ❤ and makes feels complete JOY!! WHAT MORE CAN ASK FOR JOY FROM SOMEONE... BEAUTIFUL !!
As a 60 Yr old now I started collecting vinyl all over again. Along the way picking up James Gang, Eagles, and then Joe Walsh records. Always loved his tunes, but noticed his crazy sense of humour looking at his vinyl. Joe Walsh albums are all wacky covers, funny, openings on the wrong side, labeled goofy, like puzzles, I love it! its his way of saying who gives a shit about standards, it about the ride. This vid makes all sense now.
I love Joe Walsh. I saw him perform with the Eagles in 1978. One of the greatest musicians to ever grace the stage however his Dynamic personality outshines them all for sure for real.
Am 62yrs old and I still listen to the Eagles Joe,Randy,Bernie,Glenn,Tim,Don F,Don H,love the Eagles I was thirteen years old when I first heard the Eagles since then am hooked they are good in harmony ❤️

I'm 81yrs young. I just recently discovered Joe Walsh. Wish I had not been soo country. I truly love the man from back then, n now for sure. Can't get enough of him. 💖🎼👵
Joe plays with so much soul and feeling. Very emotional guitar playing. " In the City" is a good example. I listen to Joe's guitar on all Eagles songs, you can tell when he wrote the song or just a lick, or riff.
I bought 'Got Any Gum' when I heard on KLBJ FM in Austin, YEARS ago, that Joe Walsh would soon be doing a 'meet n greet' at Budget Tapes and Records, waited in the Incredibly Lonng line, while Joe told stories and jokes and ASSURED us all that he would not be leaving at the designated time given for the event, but would be there until Everyone got there turn. 4/28/2023 What a great way to tell this story. It's nice to see and hear someone be honest and self abasingly funny about his former life. For me, I was in attendance when Joe and "The James Gang" played their last bar gig, at a club called "The Jail" in Strongsville, Ohio, the night before the went to record their first album. It was the first time `I ever saw or heard them too. I've followed Joe's career ever since, something I hardly ever do. We've been loosing a lot of folks recently, I hope Joe lives for ever, well, not really, just a long time to come. ;-)
Met Joe sometime 1970-72 doing stage work at a JAMES GANG concert. Joe was really nice, but also really high. They were great, but you could tell Joe was special. So glad he cleaned up and life had been good to him. Love ya Joe!!!
Sometimes I enjoy a lyric story more than the song, but Joe nailed it. I love it both. Remembering vagely from the press back then that he was in trouble trshing hotel rooms all over the tour routes. Glad he had an acountant "who paid for it all".

That song is one of my top favorite songs. I remember listening to that at 4am in the bedroom with the window half open in the 70s trying to keep the smell of smoke out
Saw the Eagles on my 28th birthday at Riverfront in Cincinnati. The addition of Joe to an already great group was icing on the cake. The 70's were a total badass collection of rock.
I TURNED 70 LAST AUGUST 2 AND. STILL LOVE TO ROCK. I SAW THE STONES ABOUT 2 WEEKS AGO AND MAN DID THEY RECHARGE MY BATTERIES. I LOVE A GOOD CONCERT-ONE THAT'S SO LOUD THE FILLINGS IN MY TEETH VIBRATE!!!
This is one of my mom's favorite songs. Thanks to her, I was exposed to some great music at an early age. I guess you could say I was rocking in the crib. 🎸👶❤ Thanks, Mom.... Miss you!
- A friend of mine who died of lung cancer last year told me about going to see Joe perform years ago. He said Joe was very drunk and couldn't sit on his stool without falling off occasionally. He said Joe never missed a note and played perfectly. Total professional. Drunk but totally pro.
Joe gave me my first guitar lessons when i was 4 yrs old. it was a trade off for using my brothers silvertone amp when he played the bars of Kent State University. this was back in 1963-64. he turned my parents on to getting me involved in music fulltime, and now i can thank him for giving me a music career, though not a famous career, it is still a life in music that has paid all my bills since the 1970s. by the way...back then, he lived in a Volkswagon bus and ate a lot of bologna and mustard sandwiches. he couldn't afford an amp and was teaching local kids guitar to make extra money. i would love to contact him personally and give him a big thank you. doubt if he remembers that time in his life, but i do.
I absolutely LOVE Joe! He's such a genuine guy &I think even funnier sober. He & Felder together on dueling guitars was sheer magic. I miss that so much.
I remember when I lived in the Detroit area, Joe played guest D.J. sometime in the '80s for a week when the morning crew went on vacation on WRIF, FM. That was cool and funny to finally find out how that great song came about.. God that song brings back great memories of my and the boys (my dad my brother and me); and my sister riding on a long trip to it think it was Stanford springs for a swap meet.. and it had to be like near or after midnight and were all jamming to the radio.. listening and singing the long version of life's been good .. and just having a blast.. when I hear the song it makes me laugh, smile and cry for the memories.. I had the honor of meeting Mr. Walsh several years ago after a show he did at the House of Blues, here in New Orleans. We're both veteran guitarists of the N.O. music scene, but had never had the priveledge of seeing the artists dressing room at the H.O.B.. It was NICE! I know, duh. My friend and I both held Joe's playing in the highest regard and could easily have picked his brain for hours, but as gracious and polite as he was we could tell he was beat and kept our comments short. I told him how amazing his voice sounded. I told him that I,too, had been sober a good while. He nodded with approval and thanked me for the comp. My friend made a joke about the Drew Carey show, like"Hey I didn't know you were an actor and a guitar player! " Joe is a special guy, a special musician and a very special guitarist. Thanks, Joe.
I love this song 🎵 ❤️, and Joe Walsh, his music 🎶 🎵 ❤️ is amazing. Life has been good to him so far. He's just amazing musician with endless talent. Keep rockin and rolling, Joe. Your music 🎶 🎵 will never, ever go out of style.

How is he still alive? A mad genius. I adore him.
