I don’t always listen to Joe Walsh. But when I do, so do the neighbors.
Good answer.

BWAHAHAHA….NICE!!
Gen Xer here. I know the under 30 crowd rips on boomers, but you gotta admit that they are the first generation to be cool senior citizens.
Thank you.

Me too, and I’m 72!
Hay age is just a number old age pain is just painful
At 73 so do I
Again, this is a supreme example of one being comfortable in one’s skin.
His true stories are better than what standups create.
Joe Walsh is a national treasure.
As a 60 Yr old now I started collecting vinyl all over again. Along the way picking up James Gang, Eagles, and then Joe Walsh records. Always loved his tunes, but noticed his crazy sense of humour looking at his vinyl. Joe Walsh albums are all wacky covers, funny, openings on the wrong side, labeled goofy, like puzzles, I love it! its his way of saying who gives a shit about standards, it about the ride. This vid makes all sense now.
If he weren't a fantastic musician, he could have been a great comedian.
Like George Thorogood said... "Rock & Roll never sleeps, it just passes out"
Love ya Joe!!

Thorogood??? Referring to him in a forum on Joe is really bad Feng Shui.

He seem so real and down to earth. He’d be someone you’d want to sit by in a bar and have a beer as you solve the worlds problems.

Right 😁
I totally agree
One problem He's Sober..🌮
Sometimes I enjoy a lyric story more than the song, but Joe nailed it. I love it both. Remembering vagely from the press back then that he was in trouble trshing hotel rooms all over the tour routes. Glad he had an acountant "who paid for it all".
"One of the most terrifying things that ever happened to me was that Keith Moon decided he liked me."
Joe, you are absolutely a gem. Thank you

I am shocked that the audience is not clapping after every piece of the puzzle is played, this is wicked awesome
Ran into Joe at Ardent Studios in memphis tn, he was looking for his box for his 2 inch tape reel, he found it in the room I was in and he looked right at me and said "see, I TOLD you the box was in here!" I was starstruck and dumbfounded at 18 years old, Joe Walsh just spoke to me! :O
Joe Walsh was the final piece of one of the greatest Rock & Roll bands of all time.

You can't help but love Joe Walsh
I remember this song came out my first year in college. But seeing Joe Walsh here and most of these fans I'm shocked to see how old they look! 🤔
you must not look so young yourself
❤ love him this is march 28 24
That was cool and funny to finally find out how that great song came about.. God that song brings back great memories of my and the boys (my dad my brother and me); and my sister riding on a long trip to it think it was Stanford springs for a swap meet.. and it had to be like near or after midnight and were all jamming to the radio.. listening and singing the long version of life's been good .. and just having a blast.. when I hear the song it makes me laugh, smile and cry for the memories.. God my parents brought us up right .. with the best of every thing especially our love for music... thank you Joe Walsh and all the other great bands that gave us the most awesome pantheon of music throughout our lives!! ❤🎼🎵🎶
I bought 'Got Any Gum' when I heard on KLBJ FM in Austin, YEARS ago,
that Joe Walsh would soon be doing a 'meet n greet' at Budget Tapes and Records, waited in the Incredibly Lonng line, while Joe told stories and jokes and ASSURED us all that he would not be leaving at the designated time given for the event, but would be there until Everyone got there turn.
And when I got my turn, I asked him to please sign my album
"To Rochelle,
(my mom),
From the Best Eagle,
Joe Walsh".
To which he obliged.😎 I thanked him and expressd that THAT was in both of our opinions,
(with due respect
to ALL band members 😌🙏),
the Truth of the matter.🎸🤟🏼
And I WON 🙂 on her birthday.😀
Thanks again Joe.
You ARE the
Coolest😎.
Llll
Joe Walsh came to our High school and played guitar and spoke about his bad experience with drugs . He was so high lol . 1983.
One of my favorite drinking songs back in the day
My teenage years spent dragging the strip in my 68 El Camino with girlfriends, windows down, 8-track cranking out Joe Walsh - good stuff, good memories - thank you!
Those were the days! Long long gone though and there will never be another time like it ever again.

What a great way to tell this story. It's nice to see and hear someone be honest and self abasingly funny about his former life.
For me, I was in attendance when Joe and "The James Gang" played their last bar gig, at a club called "The Jail" in Strongsville, Ohio, the night before the went to record their first album. It was the first time `I ever saw or heard them too. I've followed Joe's career ever since, something I hardly ever do.
We've been loosing a lot of folks recently, I hope Joe lives for ever, well, not really, just a long time to come. ;-)
I am. Lucky to have seen him when I was young . Now that I am in my sixties, I can enjoy him twice in my life.

Welcome. And enjoy.
Joe plays with so much soul and feeling. Very emotional guitar playing. " In the City" is a good example. I listen to Joe's guitar on all Eagles songs, you can tell when he wrote the song or just a lick, or riff.
2023 and I'm here for it.
Love you Joe ❤️

Joe is sober but permanently drunk and I love him.
You just put into words what I could not verbalize.
I think he was actually drunk when this was filmed.
I think the syndrome that happens when someone has been sober for a long time after been drunk for a long time they call it a dry drunk or a wet brain I forget whether you have a wet brain or you're a dry drunk but one of those syndromes holds true I guess you could guess you could have a wet brain and be a dry drunk or could you have a wet brain I don't know anyway

Joe Recently said that "He and his band didn't know what they were doing on stage." I still don't think he fathoms how brilliant him and The Eagles were. Common I think with music artists of his caliber. Such perfectionists.

I remember when I lived in the Detroit area, Joe played guest D.J. sometime in the '80s for a week when the morning crew went on vacation on WRIF, FM. He would play records, do some live stuff and tell stories too. I don't think I ever laughed so hard as I did the mornings of that week! I saw Joe Walsh when he opened for the Doobie Brothers back in the early 90s. He was far better than them, entertainment-wise, and it was one of the absolute best concerts I’ve ever been to. On the Navy base in San Diego. Eight dollar admission and two dollar beers! Crazy, right?

I think Joe Walsh should be in musics Hall of Fame
It was a Sunday morning back in about 1981 -- up on Sugarloaf Mtn in Boulder, CO -- and there was a knock on the door. I opened the door and -- whoa -- it was Joe Walsh. He said he had run his car into a ditch and would I help him get it out of the ditch. Heck, yeah! After about an hour of tires spinning and mud and snow flying all over the place we got his Mercedes out of the ditch. He shook my hand and said "Thanks" and motored on down the road.
I got a mercedes outta the ditch,
Ain't never been there, they say it's a bitch,
Life's been good to u so far!😁👍
He would make such a great stand up comic talking about the experiences he could remember. What a character. Number 1 on my people i'd like to meet.

Joe gave me my first guitar lessons when i was 4 yrs old. it was a trade off for using my brothers silvertone amp when he played the bars of Kent State University. this was back in 1963-64. he turned my parents on to getting me involved in music fulltime, and now i can thank him for giving me a music career, though not a famous career, it is still a life in music that has paid all my bills since the 1970s. by the way...back then, he lived in a Volkswagon bus and ate a lot of bologna and mustard sandwiches. he couldn't afford an amp and was teaching local kids guitar to make extra money. i would love to contact him personally and give him a big thank you. doubt if he remembers that time in his life, but i do.
