    An accountant that is mastering Zoho contacted me a few weeks ago. He told me that he can migrate Quickbooks to Zoho Books and still be 100% compliance with the Gov. I hired him to migrate one of my companies and it worked well. The fun cost me $2500. Bottom line it was worth it. Now I have all the data in one place.

      Pedro Deleon true. I got contacted by a few accountants that migrate. Let me know if you need some connections. Proves that they charge are very reasonable

      @@smallbusinessautomation I actually do because I have been setting up everything within Zoho One Apps which is very convenient since they all connect and we can save the money and headaches that goes into integrations and hiring developers. I have been using QuickBooks for Self Employed but I think things are getting to the point where I need a real accounting system in place. However the amount you paid sound excessive to me, but at the same time I do not know the size or how many businesses you actually have. Thank you

      The price suppose to be around $1500 to migrate the system. I paid too much. It’s priceless to have the system talking to each other. I have books recording a transaction and automatically running a custom function that creates a deal in crm for the same client. Priceless for me. Saves so much time.

      Lior Izik Can you provide me with some contact for data migration from QB to Zoho? One big feature that is missing for me with QBO is the lacking of Sales Order which Zoho has. We need to be able to generate a customer estimate into a sales order before Invoicing.

    So glad I went with Zoho Books as the first choice. There are quite a number of cloud accounting solutions it's confusing which one to go with.

    This was a helpful video. Thank you. Just curious if Zoho Books is easier to migrate from than QuickBooks. I am just starting out and do not have accounting software yet, but what if I didn't like it and wanted to download everything to Excel or even to a free software like Wave? Is that possible?

    • @smallbusinessautomation
      @smallbusinessautomation  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Good question. I have no answer to that. I assume any migration is painful. I would try the target accounting company in parallel to the existing one until i know if its for me or not.

    I believe Zoho has more things to offer rather than QB Online, but the only thing that keeps me in QB is that in every single transaction (sales or purchase) that I have, I attached an attachment. So In order to migrate, It would be very painful to do it one by one...its not just data (numbers)....it is the attachments and documents inside every single transaction.
    Im in construction business so it is important to us to keep record in every single scan or picture of every single purchase.
    Is there anything that could help us to migrate.??

    • @smallbusinessautomation
      @smallbusinessautomation  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      100% with you.
      I knew that I am going to lose QB so i create a Books account and started to work with it. I did kept my QB for the attachment backups.
      Every year I restore the account for one month and cancel again. They keep it inactive for 12 months before they delete it. So i renew for 1 month every 11 months :)
      After 4 years I let it die.

    From India here, I have tried both zoho and quickbooks. But i have noticed that quick books is significantly slower in everything in terms of navigating the UI, recording transactions etc when compared to zoho which is instant. Why is that so? And do u face the same issue in your country?

    • @smallbusinessautomation
      @smallbusinessautomation  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello from Canada :) No, here QB is great. I really love working with it. Actually since I posted this video I managed to migrate my Quickbooks to Zoho Books. As of April 1st 2020 I am free of Quickbooks. I am so happy. Huge saving AND I got reporting tags on Zoho Books that are amazing for me.

    • @meetp6695

      @@smallbusinessautomation sorry to nag you again, but since you brought up reporting tags, is there anyway for me to generate a reporting tag wise sales list? I basically have 40 different sales locations, and want a simple report with a list of locations and their corresponding sales for a given time period. I added locations in reporting tags but there is no way to generate a single report for all reporting tags. Thanks in advance :)

    Good summary - this is exactly where we are at as well and I have been reading numerous comments (read complaints and criticisms) in the Zoho Support forum, documenting all the reports and miscellaneous tasks and abilities Books is still missing. We are hopeful in the next couple years these will be resolved!

I recommend you to talk to him. We are fully with Zoho Books with great success. I dont see how i will ever go back to Quickbooks.

    Does Zoho feed into Turbo Tax like Quickbooks does? Probably not.

      I checked and I can’t find any integration of zoho and turbo tax. If you have time to play with it, you can check a 3rd party integration tools such as zapier. Maybe that will do the work.

    I am from india,I saw your video and decided to try out zoho books.....but i am facing some issue with zoho books ......1) there is no automatic backup.....and no facility for daily backup,once backup is done i have to wait for 15 days to create a new backup....isnt that too much of a hassle in itself.....quickbooks has autobackup........2) And also if for some reason all of my data is deleted by a person with malicious intent who gets my user name and password .......they have no data recovery option too ......3) There is no backup restore option too .......so how to get around these problems in zoho books
