The part with the band guys dancing with their daughters is really cool. Show aired Father’s Day weekend 1963.

Polishing my shoes on Saturday night for Sunday church, while my mother listened to the Lawrence Welk show.

They always find the perfect songs for each of the themes! Really enjoyed the harmonies on Down By The Riverside! And loved Aladdin's recitation...that's something that I wish had continued throughout the show! And that ending! Thanks for another great upload!

Actually, this whole episode is cool. Lots of unusual pairings and surprises. Dick Cathcart had a great voice!!

Lordy, I remember my parents filling up the Studebaker Lark VIII with Dino during annual trips to visit my grandparents in Miami!
And, listen to Norma’s gliss in the ending of “Summertime”…it puts the opening clarinet glissando in “Rhapsody in Blue” to shame…what a voice!

I believe the tune that Neil and Myron play is “Dancing the Devil Away.”
Thanks for posting these. My great grandmother graduated from Webster High School in South Dakota alongside Myron!

Poor Jerry Burke only had few more years left. :( Also, isn't it Wunnerful seeing fine members of our Greatest Generation dancing to the music?

Sadly in 2024, not too many are still with us from this show. The Lennon’s, Bobby Burgess, and a couple more remain. First time I ever remember Frank Scott play anything fast. JoAnn Castle would have tore Happy Days up.

Aladdin was such a wonderful talent and when pared with Bob Lido , they could steal the show.

The song that the Lennon Sisters sing at 44:54 is Sugartime.

Probably refers to when it was uploaded. The title says 1963. My research says June 15, 1963.
