How does he do with the bunny now? I have a bunny who has been free roams and I'm adopting a frenchie pup. Any tips?
They do very well when they sleep (they both sleep in our bed) but when the bunny moves Muffin sometimes try to chase him, so we have to watch them. She always try to play with him but it never works lol. I recommend rewarding your pup and your bunny for calm behavior when they are together. You can also ask your pup to stay down when the bunny is around so it becomes automatic and reward it. Always supervise them and keep your pup on a leash at first or separate with a baby gate. Keep the first meetings short and positive and exercise your pup beforehand. Make sure your bunny has a safe place to hide if he becomes scared. Good luck with your frenchie puppy (and your bunny) they are a wonderful breed!
Wondering if you found a size difference from 1 years old and 2 years old… my 1 year old frenchie is quite petite and people tell me she’ll still grow until 2 years old.
Yes! They don’t really grow in height after 1 year but they gain a lot of muscular mass and chubbiness between 1 year old and 2 years old! I noticed her head got larger too. Our girl gained about 4 pounds😊

Aren’t you suppose to keep your puppy indoors and away from other dogs until they are 16 weeks?
We did dog boarding in our house and all the dogs that came were fully vaccinated and our puppy had her first vaccine when we got her. As for going outside, in the fresh snow in our backyard there’s not much risk, we’d rather potty train our puppy than using pee pads. I think it also depends where you live, here in canada our vet sais it was fine. It is also very important to socialize your puppy between 8 weeks-16 weeks old with fully vaccinated dogs.
