Dementia

Dementia is a disease that makes parts of the brain to shrink.
Result is the person affected loses memories, from forgetting where they put their glasses, to forgetting who their family is.
Plaque buildups and brain shrinking results into a state where they forget so much, the brain forgets how to live, and the victim dies because of it.
Inspired by Everywhere At The End Of Time by The Caretaker, SAVE AS by PAHC in Geometry Dash, and William Utermolhen's dementia art.
Stage 1: Minimal memory loss. Might have 3 colored dominoes instead of 2 in a line, putting the wrong type of color, etc.
Stage 2: Wrong type of dominoes, increased, but still minimal error in color pattern. Person still has great domino placement and knowledge.
Stage 3: Color patter begins to break. Non-domino objects are present. Colors are beginning to fade, turning black and white. Final coherent rainbow patterns.
Stage 4: Domino placement is beginning to break, colors are almost randomized with more black, white and non-domino objects.
Stage 5: Colors are no longer rainbow, only a jumbled mess of dominoes that barely make a straight line. Random dominoes are placed everywhere because of the rapidly deteriorating skill.
Stage 6: Victim struggles to build dominoes as it no longer can make simple lines. The victim ultimately stopped building domino art because of the disease. At the end, it barely manages to make a 6 domino line.

PS: In fact, my maternal grandmother has dementia because she is beginning to forget the names of her children and us, her grandchildren, this has happened since her mother passed away 8 years ago and her brain is starting to get a little smaller! 😭

Oh, I’m so sorry to hear that. I personally think that having dementia is WAY worse than regular death, because it’s strips a person of it’s meaning, memories. I hope you can make the most out of her time, before it’s to late. Prayers. 🙏🙏🙏
