Stunning. You don't see anyone else doing this level of detail with polymer! Is there a reason you use oven dry clay rather than a wax based clay, or is it just what you are comfortable with/use to using? Can't wait to see more of your sculpts
thank you very much🙏😊 I use polymer clay because it is easier for me once baked it is very resistant it is not necessary to make a mold .

Salut merci à toi 🙏😊, en fait ça me sert à enlever le bust plus facilement de son socle sans l’abîmer avec un simple outil je peux casser et couper le balsa , et je réutilise la mer basé en contreplaqué pour les autres sculptures 👍🏻

If i may ask - where do you place your camera for the POV shots that show the piece straight in front of you? Is it between your head and your hands? How does it not break your concentration? I really struggle with this. Your process videos are gorgeous, i wish i could make mine half as nice.

Lame question but what is the base of the sculpture ? Looks like a layer of something on top of a small wood block. Please help me understand

it's a square piece of wood that I cover with a small balsa wood plate it allow to detach the sculpture more easily later 👍🏻
@@bricesavina so you’re using the base to help you hold the sculpture while working on it and then when you’re finished you just cut/scrape away the balsa wood so you can access and cut the armature wire without disturbing the sculpture ? If so , Do you do the same process for the legs and then connect them before baking ?

Thank you very much 🙏😊, I put sculpey clay adhesive on each part where I have to put polymer clay, the clay adhesive does not dry the air but only in the oven

@@bricesavina ooo wow an do u still sand or I would guess the turpentine smooth it enough to do it with your tools, I use epoxy and was curious as I spent sometimes hours to day sanding to get a clean look and I really like approach you took here so I’ll definitely try it out an experiment with it , thank you so much an keep up the amazing work 🙏🏼☺️
Do you bake it in the oven after and if yes, could you bake it even if you have wire and aluminum paper inside?
I bake only one Time a the end when everything is finished , you can bake without problems with wire and aluminium papier inside 👍🏻

Hello what do you do to keep your clay sculpture from not cracking
With polymer clay I have sometimes tiny cracks just after baking , to prevent it ,I let the sculpture completely cool before taking it out of the oven 👍🏻

It is clay adhesive from sculpey ,you can find it on amazon ,it allows the sculpey to stick to anything 👍🏻🙂

I tried to linked a kit with the main basic sculpting tools, most of mine unfortunately cannot be found or made by myself
@@bricesavina Yeah that's basically what I've discovered. There aren't any mass produced options for rake tools especially. Definitely cheaper to make your own, anyway.
