Just for they record the make stove jack kits for about $25 that have a silicone collar that fits snugly around the stove pipe and will prevent 95% of that leaking . They also make aluminized squares with a velcro border , you could attach the silicone stove jack to that instead of directly to your tent so it would be completely removable when folding , just a thought .
I think that stove is too small for that tent. Is that stove jack pre cut when you get it or did you need to cut it yourself ? Because it should be a much more snug fit than what I can see.
just buy a _hot tent silicone flue cover_ and slide it over the end of the flue until it reaches the tent below. no need to bolt or glue it just make sure it covers the slits and hole
Pretty good vid. Never tried compressed wood, its interesting. You might need a bigger stove for that tent. If it's sized right you should get at least 1.5 to 2 hrs with soft wood. I get 2.5-3hrs with oak. Feeding the stove is part of the experience. Battery string lights are a nice addition for ambient light.

if you replace the wire handle on the the temperature gauge with a stainless steel spring you can attach it to the chimney
