Thank you for this informative video and the steak looks delicious, we haven’t used ours yet just recently got our rv but I now know how to season the griddle. Again, thanks. 😊
I just started to follow you because I’m new to RVing and I like the ePro. I should have known you were a nurse you explain things so well and get to the point. You have great relevant content and easy to listen to. Thank you so much Ive learned more in the few videos I watched compared to people who sell or have been doing this for years. Thx again!
I would put the griddle on a Table and move away from the camper. I found an extension for the quick disconnect and able to use the griddle on a separate table that way you don't get your camper greasy.
Hey Marine Mom. Looks like you are a happy camper. I have one of those griddles but mine is a Blackstone. They are all the same . I use mine all the time. The cooking possibilities are almost unlimited. I especially like making huge Western omelets. Have a blessed day and Semper Fi.
Yikes, to my amazement and surprise I just watched a review of a trailer similar to your, and they said that it absolutely has Lodge cast iron cooking surface 🙄.... so that's adds to the quality alot. And... you were absolutley right.
Choosing to follow your channel is a happy time for me. I use Crisbee cast iron (steel griddle) seasoning to protect & maintain seasoned cookware. A domed cover works great while cooking on these flat griddles (ex. Over the salmon). A disposable aluminum cookie sheet pan between flat top & camper may shield from heat and splatters. My son has a small folding table and a longer hose so he can move his griddle to the back of his e-Pro 12sk. Thank you for this wonderful video about enjoying the camp cooking experience.
Get a good Scraper to clean off the griddle -- easy to do when it's hot. You don't really need to use water but it's not a big deal as long as you coat the service with oil afterward. Also, you might want to get you a ThermaPro Temperature gauge - I use this every time I'm cooking and everything comes out perfect.
Another great job girl! I recently picked up a 2023 NoBo 19.3. Came with the same griddle. I too wonder about the heat on the trailer. Supposedly they have extended it out farther then the original design. I got a longer gas hose off Amazon so I can use it on one of my camp tables. I also found some 4" disposable mini pie tins that fit in the grease catch for easy clean up. That and a carry bag for it. (because I didn't attach the arms to it) Keep up the great work!
A really good seasoning sticks to cast iron very well, but you're cooking surface there is steel. That does not mean a great deal in the grand scheme of things, but you may have a little trouble with the seasoning not wanting to stay on. The oil seasoning process will not adhered to stainless steel at all. Not to worry if it wants to flake a little. It will build up on your surface over time. If you do start spotting a little rust, regular household vinegar and a paper towel will clear it away, no biggie. Looking forward to the next road trip. Thanks for sharing.
@@lifewithstephanie42 I don't for sure. It appears to be folded to form the corners like steel. Cast iron can be moulded when its molten (where cast comes from), but not shaped afterward. People often interchange the terms. I collect and restore old cast iron... now you know something about me 😁
I own a T@B, but she's getting a lot of years on her...16 to be exact. I am contemplating a 15TB as my next camper. Prefer the E Pro, but all that is around here is Geo Pro. However, I'm a short 5'2" and was wondering about the overall height of the camper and using the griddle, table, and even turning on and off the propane. All have the off-road package, too, and I would prefer it without. It's so much taller than my T@B. For reference, how tall are you?
I’m 5 ft. My taller friends and I get around the trailer great. I can reach the vents on the ceiling on my tip toes lol but I can reach everything just fine, even the propane

I'm learning from you! Don't have one of those thinga majigs. If you're happy, I'm happy. ; - )
I love this comment! Lol
I purchased an inexpensive hinged lid for my griddle on Amazon . It keeps the trailer a lot cleaner ( no grease splatter )

Thank you so much for watching! And the advice you give! …Isn’t this suburban griddle cast iron, not Steel 🤔

I would never use that hanging on my rv just set on a table away from your rv. I think it’s very dangerous to used in that manner. Stay safe be happy
