Alright final question. I was actually curious to know on how is the NVH levels of the Arteon (Windnoise and road noise) considering frameless windows. Plus how's the ride quality and comfort? Since it's sporty and has wide grippy low profile tyres, does it will stiff, harsh, bumpy and busy?
NVH is somewhere in the mid point, can be noisy and can be quiet depending on road surface. Wind noise is good. Frameless windows dont affect overall comfort. I mentioned everything about the ride comfort in the video. Even in Sport mode, it is still comfortable.
I have to commend you on the production quality of your video! I'm surprised you only have 1.1k views when videos like this would easily cross 50k views!
Seats worn out just after 8 months. Hmmmm doesn't sound durable. Wonder how will it fare in 10 years. Other than that, the car is fine. Just forgot to mention about the diamond strips lining mmg silau. A darker colour would be suitable
Seats in this Arteon were still just fine after all those people driving it. Which diamond strips? The inserts on the dash? Did mention it at 6:23 ... and yes memang silau gila!
@@PistonMalaysia Bro improve it in the next video featuring the facelifted 4 Motion version. Awaiting Piston Automotive review. Have you made arrangements with VW yet?
Fantastic car. But the power is a turn-off. Even for Passat, 190 Ps & 320 Nm is disappointing (downgrade from 220 & 350). But same engine for almost 200kg heavier Arteon, that is quite bad. Looking forward to upcoming facelift. VW should offer the higher tune engine. But sadly, fuel consumption will take a hit.
Yes, agreed on the power ... great looking car without the power... but there's a Arteon R for that ... it was teased in Malaysia but not well accepted...
@@Ravencroft81 Go drive first before talking. Of course 190Ps is not enough. When the fuel efficient Passat gets that Budack cycle engine with 190Ps 320Nm state of tune engine, it doesn't make sense for the Arteon R Line to get the same engine. Arteon is touted as a sporty car but engine is same as Passat. Note the weight of Arteon is around 130kg heavier. So it will be slower than Passat due to lower power to weight ratio. Anyway VW made a facelift so fast in July last year and solved that problem. Gave 280Ps 350Nm engine with AWD system for Arteon. Perfect. But in overseas Arteon gets better engine. Up to 300Ps & 400Nm.
Go to 3:24 mark for actual info to start
keep up the good work for us... appreciate your honest review looking forward for your next video
Thank you for the motivation... new video coming up this week...
How about now? Any reliability issue?

@@PistonMalaysia Thanks for your feedback. Sorry for the late reply. Since I'd revisited this comment section.
Good Review.! How about doing some review of Volvo S 60 or XC 60
100k reliability test in the future maybe?
i have some friends in Malaysia and i got your accent in 5 sec. Good Review of Very Good car
Cheers from Malaysia 🙏🏼
Need to show what exactly the fc from meter, not this way, like u drove it 1 week or so.
Yeah
The radio will do that but not a lot it’s common
It would be great to test Passat R Line (after 10k km) to see how it holds up
Depending on availability of the car and its mileage ... will try ...

Thank you. We are trying to be as consistent as possible and then, hopefully the views will pour in. Do share our videos. Thanks.
Thank you for the review! The glare issue is what will keep me away from this car. It is definitely not safe.
You can get the wood grain trim option. That’s what mine has

@@PistonMalaysia Yeah. Need sunglasses to reduce the silau but the reflection on side mirrors can't be avoided

@@PistonMalaysia It's like AMG & AMG Line. One is truly performance while the other is merely cosmetics upgrade (sporty)
@@royalprince5878 Yup, there's a significant difference ...
190 Ps not enough? Are you insane? Usually little boys without any driving skills talk like that.
