Synopsis
Audio Visual about the backstage of the show "A Rendeira e a Tartaruga", with Bianca Ramos and Cristian Strugulski, from Vibrata Produções. Video was produced by Avideye Productions (Canada) and Vibrata Produções (Brazil) with Direction by Aquiles Ascencion, Canadian filmmaker with international awards.
The approach of this mini-documentary aims at valuing artistic work on Azorean popular culture and care for the environment, themes of the show that has as its research base two pillars: the Rodas de Cantorias and Rendas de Bilro (culture brought by the Azoreans) and the life cycle of the sea turtle (considered a true engineer of the ecosystem) with the recycling of garbage. Behind the scenes of the show A Rendeira ea Tartaruga, where the story is told and sung in a montage that combines narrative, manipulation of puppets and live music (a true environmental education in a playful way), there are also the difficulties encountered to the realization of projects and survival of Brazilian artists, as well as highlighting the importance, appreciation and maintenance of local cultures.
