been catching up on all of your old videos this past month, and i just wanted to say thank you for dedicating so much of your time to documenting your paintings and creative process and also the little clips of your routine and thoughts and such over the past 7 years - you are truly an inspiration, i admire you and your work a lot - another beautiful plein air today & happy spring 🌷
How the sky changes color at the horizon is so real and easy to miss. I also like how the shadows read across the sand. The whole painting is very nice!

Absolutely LOVE the sky, clouds and Water colors, gorgeous. It always amazes me how you can take a very simple scene and turn it into something one wants to ponder... :) Oh and the scene at the end of you painting with how different the light is, fantastic! really enjoying your Vlogs!
Thanks. I wouldn't say interchangeably, because they do different things. Ultramarine leans towards purple and phthalo leans towards green. I do use them simultaneously, either in the same mix or in separate mixes which then play off of one another.

I'm so glad you're finding my videos helpful! I use Liquin during the block in, but very little after that.
