I couldn’t agree more. I’ve only been there once, but it felt so much more like home than where I currently live. Those charming little shops, centuries old and still the best at their craft, the style, politeness, beauty, and tradition - it’s all wonderful. However, as I mentioned in my other comment, if I may offer advice to anyone wanting to embrace the magic of what I find to be the most beautiful of all cities, it would be to keep in mind how vast London is and how much of it, I daresay probably 90%, is dirty, devoid of culture, style, manners, or tradition, and just plain disgusting. (I had to go there once using the Underground, which is entirely disgusting on its own, and it was one of the worst experiences I had that year.) So, if one wishes to truly embrace the real culture of London, you must be at its core - Chelsea, Kensington, or Westminster. Before you plan your holiday in some of London’s slums, you’re better off going elsewhere. But when you do have the opportunity to visit its cultural, artistic core, its quintessentially British heritage, you will fall in love with the city right away. It really does feel like stepping into a historic book, in the fashion of Dickens and Verne. I wholeheartedly recommend not setting foot near the modern part of Westminster. Even though it’s not part of the slums, it lacks any charm. However, the route from Chelsea through Kensington and St James’s Park, past Buckingham Palace, to the mecca of classic menswear and craftsmanship, where you can find everything from the best shoes to the finest suits, and pralines with His Majesty’s Royal Seal of Approval - and the taste of heaven - is absolutely perfect in embracing the richly classic history and culture of a bygone era.
@@SamanthaBaker8 I’ve personally never been there as my hotel was in Chelsea, and for the sake of seeing the city in a more classic way and considering the practical affect that the before from the described places were all very well posibble to chief, I thought I had decided to only work part of the reasons have also been the lack of a car and of course, not wanting to use the utterly disgusting, underground or busses As I’m not a fan of those kinds of public vehicles in general
No more press required--I already watched KAOS all the way through, three times. The Percy Jackson kid inside me is having the time of her life with this series 🎉
Must have been a long time ago. The people in London are pretty much the same as in the UK on general. London, itself, however, is only minority populated by genuine UK people now. They largely don't integrate and make it clear they don't want you there.
Thanks for this. You could never see all of London in one lifetime.I have tried and failed, miserably. lol I have had 70 wonderful years there .The first 29 years in Inner South East London and the last 41 years in this house on the very border of South East London and Kent.

Jeff Goldblum and my big mate Mark look similar have similar expressions and humour. I laughed all the way through KAOS because 1. it was immensly entertaining, educational and funny, and 2. It was as if I was watching my big mate Mark shooting at people.who he thought had stolen his watch.. 😂
The first thing I ever saw Jeff Goldblum in was the UK ad campaign Holsten Pils lager. He did those for maybe 4 or 5 years, so to me he fits in very well with UK culture.
much love to the KAOS series. Its really great and i hope a season 2 comes soon. I honestly couldten think of a better person to play the almighty zeus then jeff goldblum. Everything about him just screams that greek god vibe. him an cliff curtis are the best actors in the show that fit their role the best🔥 but i do wish we can get to see a little more of zeus power and of course the so many other interesting gods greek mytologi has to offer. I am specially found of greek mytologi because i feel like it has so much deep to it and the gods just scream badass in everyway
If you have not seen ‘Kaos’ do yourself a favour and watch it! It’s like the ancient Greek myth equivalent of baz lurman’s Romeo and Juliet. PLEASE WATCH

He genuinely seems like a nice person, however no one can say he’s a great actor , like Sean Connery he’s played the same part in every film he’s made. But there’s no doubt he has star quality.
Enjoyable for what it is. But whoever wrote the title and the caption surely did not watch the video. A bit of random location footage with no coherent narrative does not constitute a 'tour of London'. And a 'stop at one of his favourite Jazz Clubs' certainly suggests more than driving past the outside of Ronnie Scott's and reminiscing about having played there. If I had paid for this I would want my money back. But I didn't pay for it, so the best I can offer is thanks for seven minutes with Jeff Goldblum. But no thank for not getting to see him as a tour guide to London.

He looks so happy, healthy and humble
He's the same age as my parents and he looks great. Can't say the same about mom and dad though.
@@sstills951 🤣
What a wonderful man is Jeff Goldblum, I just love his mind.
Been to London three times in my life. No other city has made me feel like home like London does. Love the city❤
Wow, I wish, maybe one day
Moved here with 21 … 16 years ago. Nothing quite like it.

One of my favourite things about the Goldblum is his power of deduction. It’s so funny to watch.

Always…
What a wonderful human being Jeff Goldblum is.
I lived in London in the early 70's, it was fun and surprising. Now it's 100 eateries per square mile and you need a LOT of money as in a LOT !
Can you imagine having Jeff Goldblum as your dad? That must be an amazing childhood.
He`s looking good for 71, 72 in October 2024.
71? You're joking?
@@Jeremy-f3s He's not, that's his age, he was born in october 1952. But he does look very good for his age, a good 10 years younger, at least.
