How in the world is that only 2 years old?!. Mine that are almost 4 years are not even shoulder high! What am I doing wrong? Texas clay soil.

I am no professional here but maybe a little guide? Do you have it in a full sun spot? It loves full sun and well drained soil. Maybe look into moving it or you can pull it out from its current location (dig larger twice the root ball size) then purchase some compost mix it with some of the clay currently there, add some Espoma Organic Bio-Tone Starter mix it all in and plant it back in the same spot. Water it good for two weeks so it doesn’t stress or die. Keep an eye out for so it doesn’t get stressed. This is all if you can’t wait until cooler fall weather. That is what have I done and now it’s a happy tree. Hope that helps

Hi Ryancam5922. First, thank you very much for your time and support. The best time to plant or transplant them are in the autumn time. If you see that you ever need to replant or plant them in new spaces you really can do it anytime. If in the hot summer months you will just need to water them more often than normal. Like a daily watering for a week to two weeks. So they don’t go into shock or dry up. Hopefully your trees are doing great 😊🙏🏻

@gardenfunwithpaulie6491 did it do good or didn't go so well for the tree where you plant it ?? I live in Texas got 2 but the white flowers so needing to know if it went well or maybe need to do add different dirt or soil before planting the tree there in my front yard..
