House Hollard, a servant of the ambitious until its' last member. What a shame to have an entire house be but a piece in the grand game, and never a player. Got to wonder, though, how did Ser Dontos survive after the defiance? He was taken to kings' landing as a squire, and later became a knight, but House Hollards' lands and castle were taken by the crown, but he wasn't known for his jousting, so he had limited income, and yet he still took part, so he had income to recupereat losses (assumingly). Did he serve as a household knight in King's landing, or was Barristan his patron yet again?
Technically the U.S flag is based on the Washington family crest. The Washington family earned a title for actions at the battle of Crecy in the Hundred Years War.
@@MartianMothman It didn't. It was that he started with "technically" implying a correction on my position which doesn't present logically by Gravel's reply. His factoid about family crests was a non-sequitur to my comment so I followed up with another. Why are you nitpicking about this meaningless thing, Johnny? Surely your time isn't worthless. His drunken demeanor can likely be attributed to the trauma of having his entire family be executed while he himself survived.
Seeing that sigil reminds me that GoT made Hllard's sigil look a lot like the US flag. I wonder why they did that.
Your right it kinda does. In think it’s because they used a very light pink and tiny crowns

@@Gravelgratious I didn't actually think that the US got our flag from GRRM.
@@billberndtsonwhat did anything he said have to do with GRRM? Family crests are a thing in real world history not just in ASoIaF.
