So it turns out that Stokeworth is missing from my map. When looking into it i think it is down to the fact the maps i used as reference didn't include it. Infact from what i can tell we don't 100% for sure know it's location but based on some research it is likely north of King's Landing and west of Rosby. I'm spending some time next week updating the map and expanding it to the east some more so i will fix the stokeworth and crackclaw point issue when i do that.
And yet the tv show thought it was more fun to cut this and hobble any character growth for Bronn by just retreading his joking sidekick routine for the entire second half, hobbling his character. Four seasons. But hey when you have These Performances, These Faces…
Kinda stupid of Cersei to immediately get rid of Felyse when should use her later. She could have just kept her as some sort of hostage and then marry her off when it becomes expedient. Then she would have gotten rid of Bronn AND used Stokeworth Castle as a bribe to some lord. But then again, she isn't known for foresight.
I wonder what Martin's plans are for Bronn? He much wiser then most of the characters and understand how to wield power effectively better then most, even if it's ruthless. Somehow I don't think he will last long. and without much loyalty to anyone, he might be killed or flee.
kind of, it depends on the exact terms of his marriage agreement it may be the case Lollys is considered the Lady. But practically speaking even if that were the case, we all know Bronn would functionally be the lord.
He might even end up as the Lord of Rosby. Lollys has a claim there, and the current ruler is just a ward of Lord Gyles. Bronn’s pulled together a small army of sellswords and could try to take Rosby while things are in chaos in King’s Landing after Kevan’s death. I’m guessing he’ll swear loyalty to Aegon. He’d probably fit right in with the guys from the Golden Company, so the Aegon camp might welcome him pretty easily.
I always found it to be a pretty funny series of events where in bron hiring all these sell swords to work for him,they give lolys all the courtesy being the lady of stokeworth is due, despite her not being quite a catch in court. Definitely the sort of thing you could see George have a smile on his face while writing.
A house who display a lamb deserves no respect. Dont get me wrong. Lambs are cute and delicious but what kind of message are you giving to your enemies?
Not every house needs to embrace themselves as warriors. Many houses built their power around trade, agriculture or cattle breeding. I guess House Stokeworth is one of the latter.

I think it was "Growing strong", which perfectly describes their uprising, from simple castellans to warden of the south. They're pretty to look at and through their beauty (aka marriages) they increase their power and influence.
My guy have you ever seen any historical coat of arms? They all have their history but you don't need something war related. Most coat of arms aren't threatening anyway, they're just needed to differentiate between groups of men . Because seeing the 20th coat of arms with a sword on it won't habe any effect on someone I promise, especially when the people who have a sheep as theirs have swords not any less sharp. My village has a golden piece of bread as their coat of arms because of their well known old mill they had . It's really just to easily spot who is from where, our neighbours have priests, a key, a monk holding his head, also coming from some village lore. Yada yada, only having coat of arms with weapons would be so useless and would make them so much harder to use for their original purpose.
