As a firefighter, it's great to see the electric power disconnect labeled and an "EV" sticker on all four sides after the bus number. These are very helpful in a crash or fire. The green bumpers & bird are a nice indicator as well, but it should have standard green wheels too. Fun Fact: another manufacturer has a blue bumper for their EV busses.
I drive school bus.. but I've not been lucky enough to experience the electric ones yet (the company I work for has 3 here, but I've not been able to drive one yet :( ). Love electric cars, so I'm sure I'd love an electric bus, as well.
Nice that they have a drive through wash bay- but you can see at 20:30 for example, it does nothing for the tires. Could have the cleanest shiniest vehicle around, but the dirty (and these ones at least, curbed too..but can be made to look a lot better) tires really ruins it

I drive an ev blue bird school school. Here are the cons that driver experience in our district and management doesn’t want to hear. Battery overheats on a hot day, average 80 miles of range (need more range), can’t use bus after a route unless charging is near by and have enough time, experience one time that motor shutoff while bus was in motion, if AC or heater on full, it will drain the battery fast and last I don’t believe the regeneration is working on the ev bus I drive. Other than that the ev bluebird drives very good.
That flat area behind the rear seats looks like a good area for a bus driver to take a nap on a field trip or during the middle of the school day. It could also be used for sports gear bags when traveling to games at other schools.
Really liked the idea of solar panel system used, these buses are really self sustainable
I wish my busses as a kid had more than two speakers, air conditioning & three-point seatbels. Modern busses often feature tinted windows to stay cooler inside & give protection from the sun. The white painted roofs also help with the heat, but I hope solar panels are soon offered on these EV busses.
few years ago, i worked with this company called Motiv, i did some video work for them, they were converting USPS trucks and school bus to fully electric
