Sounds like a really solid pack Lee! Loads of great features mate. Sounds really well thought out. The cinch cord on the back is great I am a big fan of it on UD packs stop everything rattling around inside the pack and gives some handy quick storage space for your jacket when it's wet so it can dry out without getting the inside of your pack wet. Just got my hands on the new UD Ultra Vest 6.0 haven't run in it yet but it looks to have some really great updates over my current 5.0 one and I love that so I am sure the new version will be killer! Great review Lee, very thorough and completely agree with your thoughts on it. Solid piece of kit and love the amount of pockets! Took me a while to get used to this vest but once you adjust it to your shape I've find it to be excellent
That's good to hear Ben as I know you were on the fence to begin with - it ticks pretty much all of the boxes, could be a tad lighter but at the price point it's sitting at, it's pretty much ideal.
