@@Jakedrifts But with corrosion taking its toll its better to assume 0.9mm I usually replace with 0.9mm on Toyota's, and for MIG wire I like to use 0.6mm, with the right settings and if I'm in the zone I can write my name into the rusty panels that I cut out.
I made it to 1:06 ,,, why would I want to listen to anyone that cant work out that there should be a guard on not one , but both of those grinders ,,,, Fool. And never use mig wire for tig unless you have to , its lacking a lot of the additives that are in tig wire , this guy has no idea.
Often I have to take the guards off to get better access in tight spaces (particularly inner sills), that's just the way it is. Donno what kind of sheltered work environment you're in that allows 200% safety at every notch and cranny, but good for you. Nobody's 100% perfect, at least he got the job done better than most people who start out, and it's metal, so it's always revers-able.

When you put the title of a video as '' do the job right'' you kind of expect that half an attempt would be made , as a video its grim as an advert its tragic. In the interest of fair play I watched the video again ,,, and Ill stand by my first post . Using mig wire as a tig filler isnt the best solution either .
