The GT350 is my favorite mustang I've ever driven! I have a 2015 mustang gt premium convertible 6 speed and certainly enjoy it! It's lowered and has a wicked exhaust system. But hopefully some day I will get a GT350.

Just got done watching your raptor video. Priceless that you want to keep it naturally aspirated. And I hope you own that truck for a long time and have a great time with it👍🏻. The reason why I say that is I just recently purchased a 2017 lightning blue GT-350 with white stripes👍🏻👍🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸🦅🦅 and I don't think I will ever do anything to the car besides drive it and enjoy it. The only way I would change things up would be to find a wrecked GT-350and then maybe super charge it... I don't own a raptor but I do own a 2013 F150 super crew four-wheel-drive FX4, and I definitely know why you like the raptor... The Ford trucks are amazing!!! Just wanted to say great videos by the way, and keep enjoying those FORD'S 🇺🇸🇺🇸🦅🦅
Yes sir! What's funny is I never really intend to have a "theme" I guess with that cars I own. But looking back it's funny you can clearly see I'm a fan of large displacement naturally aspirated cars haha. I guess I also look like a Ford fanboy lol. Whatever, I certainly plan to keep both for a very, VERY long time.
Good summary of the 350 - you hit in on the head. I recently picked up a 350R and am very impressed. Compliments the 3RS well...two cars I plan to have around a long time (we have similar taste in cars). Cheers and enjoy in good health.
Exoticars19, First time visiting. You have good content. Great indepth personal review. You don't sound annoying like a lot of these TV/magazine reporters. Perhaps it is because it came from personal experience and from the heart. Your car sounds so nice. GT350 Naturally Aspirated exhaust note is one of the best on the market. Enjoy the car, look forward to seeing more contents.
I have an 03 Terminator that sounds good, But this GT350 sounds Amazing! Perfect sounding car no need for a radio! Sounds just like the Shelby off need for speed movie.
I agree. I always try to get service where I got my car. I believe alot of dealerships will botch your ride if you didn't but it from them specifically.
Awesome video. Since last year I’ve been dead set on getting a 2003/2004 Terminator Cobra but the 350GT is growing on me fast plus it is such newer technology
I agree with you that the performance talk is meaningless unless you literally race people every day, everywhere you go. I have a 2020 AMG C43 and it's not a "true" AMG becaue the engine block isn't hand built but there is more to a car than just how fast it can go. I didn't get the C63 even though it's got more power because I care about grip and AWD that the C43 offers. I love the car and its characteristics, exhaust sound, interior quality and design, etc. Drive what makes you happy. I wouldn't trade my C43 for something like an Evo that pumps out 900hp lol. We're not all 17 year old boys who only care about SPEED SPEED SPEED!
I’m a hellcat dude and dodge fanatic. But I gotta hand it to Ford cause they did this car so right. This thing is amazing! Looks so fun and that’s what it’s all about.
Always get a coupon for your oil changes!!! Just went over 2 year on mine also, got some free oil changes with purchase, getting ready to put tires soon. Now I want a GT500 too.
I've had my 2017 350 for just over three years and 17k miles. Like it, but it is a bit rough for a daily driver. It gets about 18.4 MPG without throttling it out all the time. A bear in rush hour beltway traffic to be honest. Everybody hot to get the "R" version but don't suggest it for city/urban driving. I'd be scared for the wheels also. It isn't super smooth and the interior sucks to be honest but still fun. When the going gets twisty these really come to life and where the real strength is. Wonderful car for the money. I think I would after some thought also consider the new Supra, don't shoot me. I think I will keep mine for another two or so years.
Beautiful car. Want to get one myself. It's great watching this because you are giving us a regular guys view and opinion. U picked the right car because you still love it and love to drive it. Don't blame you. Thanks for the video.
The cinematic shots in this video are superb. It’s hard to appreciate the work you put into this video if you haven’t made a video yourself. Good work man
I like the sound of my 2012 Boss 302 better! That being said, the Gt 350 does sound good also, I just prefer the The soundtrack of the Boss which now have 75500 miles on it . My car is Daily driven, forget low miles , drive your car, and stop looking at it, it’s meant to be driven!! Great review.
Thanks! And yeah mine would have a ton more miles if I didn't have the truck, it's just so easy to hop in that instead but for the times I get in the 350, I'm reminded I need to force myself to take it out more often. It just makes life so much better!
Need to have a few thousand track day miles on that ride. I've gone thru many sets DOT streetable slicks, a couple pads upgrades, and non-drilled rotors .... about 10K miles on a '17. no trips long trips
I will have one of these cars one day. For now I have to settle for my 20 year old 40k miles Mustang GT (Cobra R clone, Vortech Supercharged, Full Kenny Brown Road Race Suspension $25,000.00 in mods. 20 years old 171 mph at Talladega, lots of track days..Road Courses and Drag strip.....NO Problems what so ever!!
recently just bought a 2019 mustang Gt 5.0 V8 460 hp and I instantly loved the car when I tested out I can only imagine the experience of the gt350 and if I had the money no doubt I would of bought one
I have a 18 and I still wonder if it was the “right car” Every once in a while I think the ZL1 might have been better just for the raw torque But the thing is, I just don’t “like” it The GT350 is very well rounded and that’s probably why it’s still the “right” car. Some important things that aren’t normally compared car to car Great visibility Back seats decent Rear trunk is big Great seats And for the obvious things Relatively light and nimble Handles damn well Relatively fast Sounds amazing Looks very good I agree with most of what you said. This is a high revving flat plane crank with a fantastic manual transmission. It’s unique, even if it’s a mustang.
Lmao. Back seats down for that extra noise compliance ! I do it on mine too and the sound comes from behind you feels right. Also it helps cooling the interior faster because you don’t have a hot air bubble back there.
I've been to 6:20, The Oasis in the back. Mountain Trail right on Lake Travis in Austin. My wife and I went swimming at Bob Wentz Park, but before that I was hauling ass around those corners near there in my Raptor :D
Dude sick vid. How did I not follow you. As of now this is my dream car. Hopefully by the time I get one you'll have your GT3 (which is another absolute dream car)
I’ve been trying to decide what my next vehicle should be and something you said really hit home. Go for the one that won’t be available in the future. Naturally aspirated V8, manual transmission, and stupid grin....
The GT oil from Motorcraft is over 100 dollars alone. Filter about 10 bucks, don't use the new rec which is way more expensive and unnecessary. 110 is breaking even. Reason to do yours is to do an oil analysis on these Voodoos.
Great review of the GT350. I own an 06 GT, same color as yours but I have 197000 miles on mine and it still runs good. It is only a 300 HP automatic but it's enough since my wife drives it most of the time. I drive a 2010 F-150 4X4 5.4 Flexfuel. I still have a 1990 LX 5.0 5 speed that's covered up in my backyard not driven for 4 years now. My son and I are planning to restore it with a crate Coyote and supercharger. Hoping for 750 to 800 HP. I just subscribed to your channel looking forward to more great videos from you.
I'm looking for a GT350 from time to time, but we never got them officially in Europe, so the prices are premium. A used one often costs about as much as a new one in the US. A new one (via import with taxes and all legal registrations) is about 80.000€ (GT350R over 100.000). Maybe one day I'll get lucky and find one.
There is nothing wrong with the GT350's performance, it was not made for 1/4 speeds, it is quick and nimble around the track, that's what is was built for. Oh, and it sounds great out the box !
I wish I was born 10 years earlier, mechanical engineering student rn and this car is my biggest dream but I know by the time I can afford one they’ll be worth over 150k for sure
I would probably wear out the transmission by constantly downshifting, love the bark when downshifting. I guarantee if you got the Porsche GT3 RS you would definitely miss the manual transmission nothing beats shifting your own Gears my friend. Enjoy.
Appreciate your realistic reviews and being candid for what the car is. Your video where you talk about the daily driveability of the car is where I pulled the trigger on my 2019 Velocity Blue GT350. It is not my daily driver and I will rarely find a track. But I wanted a Shelby since my 1st car which was a '70 Mach 1 over 40 years ago. I think the current Mustang is very reminiscent of that 69-70 fastback, which I loved. I also wanted a visceral car, with a manual and a burbling V8 for weekend cruises. As much of a beast it is, I am quite surprised how easy it is to drive and do not considering it a punishing drive. Is it perfect? No. But I agree, for the price point there is little else out there to choose from. For my weekend cruiser, it gives me power, style and speed (all I no longer possess myself!) and the key attribute was the Shelby heritage. I am always excited to have a new car, but I have not had this type of excitement since that teenager brought home that '70 Mach 1.
So glad to hear you are enjoying your new 350! Haven't seen one in Velocity blue in person, I'd imagine it looks real good! And yes the GT350 is a much easier car to drive in all manners than most (including myself) would think. But without loosing excitement. I never get out of mine after driving it and feel like I'm missing something. It will make me feel fulfilled without beating me up and wearing me out from driving it. This new 350 is defiantly something special. The fact that you like it even after experiencing a '70 Mach 1 says something haha.
I've previously owned a 07 GT500 and currently a 13 Camaro SS. Looking to buy a 15 Z28 or a 17+ GT350 here soon. I'm really torn between the two. My favorite cars out there right now. Terribly tough choice LOL
At high RPM's it sounds like a NASCAR or Vaughn Gittin Jr's drift Mustang. Nice car, take care of it. In 20 or 30 years that car will be money in the bank.
@@rembo183 I said in 20 or 30 years, dude. It will start becoming a classic by then and collectible. They'll be a point when the used value hits the bottom and collector value will drive it back up, we're seeing it with the 07-09 GT500's and the Terminator Cobra now.
Wow two years the time Fly really fast and i love it especially the sound really loud and a question should you change the exhaust or keep it stock? But as always good video ;-)
I think you hit the nail on the head with all your feedback. The GT350 wasn't designed to be a straight line king... wasn't designed to be the fastest circuit car... etc. What the GT350 was designed for was to be the King of a pure driving experience. I'm glad the 2019 design included a parts carryover from the GT350R. I will say this tho... Ford Quality Control needs some work. There are some manufacturing defects on my '19 GT350 that make you think "WTF?"...
Yes It's Me You don’t buy a Miata and expect to go race a Hellcat and win. If you buy a gt350, you know exactly what you’re getting into. It takes a certain amount of maturity and humility to own a car like this, not that you’d know anything about that.
Carrera11STi I bought a PP1 5.0 in January... after 4,400 miles I wanted out of it. The 10spd was lackluster with out a DCT, and WOW what boring drive. There’s nothing fun for me in an automatic sports car, without a DCT. It was at that point I knew being faster than other drivers wasn’t my goal with a sports car purchase. July 10, I bought a ‘19 GT350... have never been happier:-)
Paul HD_MTB That’s awesome, glad you’re enjoying the car. It’s a shame that so many people seem to think the only thing that matters in a car is how fast it is. I think the obsession with being the fastest street racer definitely has something to do with lack of maturity, lack of confidence or feeling of accomplishment in other areas of their life, or some sort of masculinity complex. Hopefully one day those guys will figure their life out

Beautiful car, and I'd always look back everytime I walked away too!!!
Good summary of the 350 - you hit in on the head. I recently picked up a 350R and am very impressed. Compliments the 3RS well...two cars I plan to have around a long time (we have similar taste in cars). Cheers and enjoy in good health.
You have a 3RS as well!? Envious! Hopefully I'll have that duo sooner than later!
Everything you mentioned in this video is exactly why I'm picking up a GT350 next April!
Nate Webber I ordered mine today. Can’t wait until April.
Jack Wolford give us an update
Is it 2019?
It will be a 2020 GT350. Red with black stripes and all options. I will post when I take delivery.
16:47 could be a really nice wallpaper. Love the shot.
Great point about visceral emotions vs statistical speed....can’t wait to get into mine! Thank you!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed!
I own an LT4 car and ill tell you myself this is the best sounding v8...
What a car! I'm currently in the market for a new 2019 one with the same color as yours.
Great video, thinking about getting one myself. Do you mind co-signing?
Gt350s are fast, really fast and aggressive!!
@Taylor Anderson let's see what you have that's faster then
Nice man always good to have someones long term ownership experience
@Taylor Anderson yes
Bought mine brand new end of February, already close to 12k miles and not my daily driver. Yes the car is that good, yes you should buy one!
Damn, good stuff!
Great Video, got my 2018 new over a year ago, love it, same thing no issues.
Great video, informative 2 year review. I think I will be in the market for a 19 or 20 version soon....
There's a yellow one for 43K asking in NY... So hard to resist even if I want the blue with the white stripes
The cinematic shots in this video are superb. It’s hard to appreciate the work you put into this video if you haven’t made a video yourself. Good work man
"I don't want to start a war with the comment section" smart man...lol...I love that car
1st time I heard a gt350 in person, I thought a jet fighter was about to land lol. Easily the best sounding V8 ever made
I see vettes everywhere, but rarely see GT350S. Made the right choice for that price range and having a special car.
Absolutely!
GREAT VIDEO. BEAUTIFUL MUSTANG. AND THE SOUND IS UNREAL. 😎🙏🇺🇸
recently just bought a 2019 mustang Gt 5.0 V8 460 hp and I instantly loved the car when I tested out I can only imagine the experience of the gt350 and if I had the money no doubt I would of bought one
I have a 18 and I still wonder if it was the “right car”
Every once in a while I think the ZL1 might have been better just for the raw torque But the thing is, I just don’t “like” it
The GT350 is very well rounded and that’s probably why it’s still the “right” car.
Some important things that aren’t normally compared car to car
Great visibility
Back seats decent
Rear trunk is big
Great seats
And for the obvious things
Relatively light and nimble
Handles damn well
Relatively fast
Sounds amazing
Looks very good
I agree with most of what you said. This is a high revving flat plane crank with a fantastic manual transmission. It’s unique, even if it’s a mustang.
Thanks for sharing. Glad your enjoying your GT350 👍🏼👍🏼🇦🇺 don’t see any in Australia 😱
Came over from your plinking page and just subscribed. Cool channel!
Lmao. Back seats down for that extra noise compliance ! I do it on mine too and the sound comes from behind you feels right. Also it helps cooling the interior faster because you don’t have a hot air bubble back there.
The difference in sound is nuts! haha
Absolutely, a very special V8 at that!
The GT oil from Motorcraft is over 100 dollars alone. Filter about 10 bucks, don't use the new rec which is way more expensive and unnecessary. 110 is breaking even. Reason to do yours is to do an oil analysis on these Voodoos.
10:38 The haters may be right, but those cars dont SOUND like the Shelby.
Thank you so much for the support!
Are you keeping it or going for the GT500? I'm leaning toward the GT350R, just because I miss driving a NA Manual.
Def. keeping the 350.
Also enjoying my second year of owning a 350 also in the Houston area
Every time you downshift you get a smile haha nice gt350😍
Its still crazy to me that you started with a brz to this kind of power!
Haha I know. I wanted to quickly see all ends of the spectrum! Still love those little BRZs and 86's.
Cool car. Fits to USA. Regards from Germany. ( 2014 BMW M5)
Just ordered a ‘20 for my nephew. Thanks for posting this!
Can I also be your nephew?
I also would like to be a nephew
Yea, we'll become your nephews
You sound like my uncle.
You're getting a lot of new nephews
GT350/ZL1 collab coming soon? :)
RP Productions Lets go! 😎
RP Productions this is going to be good!! Eargasms everywhere 🕺🏻🕺🏻
Ohhhh boy 🔥🔥🔥
Car still looks awesome man! Nice job keeping it clean! Hoping to pick one up myself soon!
Thank yah sir! Hope you do!
At high RPM's it sounds like a NASCAR or Vaughn Gittin Jr's drift Mustang. Nice car, take care of it. In 20 or 30 years that car will be money in the bank.
Monroe - After Depreciation much less money in bank. $47k for 2016 models and $50k god 2017 and 18’s. Check Carmax inventory for used GT 350s.
@@rembo183 I said in 20 or 30 years, dude. It will start becoming a classic by then and collectible. They'll be a point when the used value hits the bottom and collector value will drive it back up, we're seeing it with the 07-09 GT500's and the Terminator Cobra now.
Monroe - True. That’s possible. Maybe my new 2019 Bullitt will be worth more too?😊👍🏻LoL! ( but I’ll probably be dead anyway seeing that I’m 70 now!😊
Great video, I really hope to some day own a Shelby GT350. Nothing sounds like a good mustang exhaust.
My obtainable dream car some day such a well balanced and fun car. This car an mrt h pipe and roush exhaust would be the perfect combo.
I would like to see what a GT350 could do with a DCT out of the GT500.
Although I love the 350 for having a manual, that would be interesting. Even just hearing that exhaust note with fast shifts would be interesting.
Damn, gt350 and a raptor. You got yourself a new sub
Thank yah sir! Love your Raptor btw!
@@TexasRevving thanks Raptor brother🤙
Super lucky! Mine blew 2x before lemon law
Loved the Gt500
You yust convinced me
The 350 is now my dream car😍
Wow two years the time Fly really fast and i love it especially the sound really loud and a question should you change the exhaust or keep it stock? But as always good video ;-)
Keep it stock, a simple resonator delete and that's it!
Hopefully one day those guys will figure their life out
@@bigdisme5622 Hey man you live with your insecurities, no judgement here. Just saying one day you'll realize that there's more to enjoy about cars other than speed. Maybe not

Damn I forgot how mines drive. It been in the shop for over a month dealership taking time repairing it. Brought it in for a sensor they can't fine why the airbag light stays on
