- Magic The Gathering released a huge reprint set called the "Mystery Booster Box" So I opened one and let's see if I find any value.
Our aim is to be the single largest magic the gathering channel on youtube, with no exceptions. We're going to bring you everything from unique box openings, limited deck techs and much more! What makes me mad is WOTC has never done a proper "characters" focused set ever. Theres no proper Lim Dul, just a lame card with his face that says legendary planeswalker...NOT ENOUGH. Theres no actual Tevesh Szat character card, no actual Leshrac card. THOSE WERE THE BIG THREE VILLAINS! Always made me mad. As I have said before, since ixalan was the last real "block" and it was a huge letdown, not only because of lame giant dinosaurs instead of actual gods, but no masterpiece cards. Fucked up. Then Dominaria was finally revisited ( I said for years the big planes would be brought back, but nobody believed me) and that was about it. Finally Nico bolas was defeated like it was nothing, yet friggin Marit Lage is still slumbering somewhere, and that giant eldrazi queen mother is still stuck in the moon. LAME! Waiting till 2023 for the 30th anniversary then thats it. Things cannot stay physical forever, and htough it saddens me, mtg cannot last forever.
Watching a guy stuck at home, while he opens magic, while im stuck at home wishing i could open magic.... Good day.

I kid, but you got me back into magic and I've been fans of both channels since long before the Russian hack he was referring to a few days ago, when I remembered you helping him out with that situation. I hadn't realized the severity of the situation then, but after hearing the reflective Rudy version, I reminisced to that time and most other mtg channels would have been glad to see him fall, that was just the way it was back then. Big ups man

You have no idea how happy I am that you are back. You got me back into Magic with your Fat Packs through time series where you opened all the fat packs from Magics History. It inspired my Throwback Booster Pack Thursday openings where I open a booster from every set throughout history. Long live Mtg Headquarters!
Packs breakdown is the following:
2 White commons or uncommons
2 Blue commons or uncommons
2 Black commons or uncommons
2 Red commons or uncommons
2 Green commons or uncommons
1 Multicolored common or uncommon
1 Artifact/land common or uncommon
1 Pre-M15 card
1 Post-M15 rare or mythic
1 Playtest card (if Convention Edition) or foil (if Store Edition)
Also, cards printed as foil do not appear in the set as non-foil, and cards printed non-foil do not appear in foil.

I bought a box a handful of loose packs, I got 2 foil intruder alarms, 2 sliver hivelord, foil minamo, schools on waters edge, foil braid of fire, foil teferi's puzzle box, teferi's protection, selvala, foil helix pinnacle and carpet of flowers

It’s great to see you making content on here again. Having a voice like yours back in the community, is refreshing and encouraging! This set is prolly one of the best setnideas WOTC has even had! I like how they give you 2 of every color card, that can be either c,I, or possibly R. I’m Addition you get a multi o color card, artifact gurranteed of ne rarity. A gurranteed old frame card that is of a random rarity, a rare or mythic and a gurranteed foil from a pre determined list! This was and is a really fun set! I have a few boxes on order from some local LGS’s that I plan on opening for my channel live as well!

The foils in this set are ONLY in foil. Interesting set. Definitely need more of them personally.

I'm with you, bud. Opening packs and collecting and playing a fun game is stress relieving. Honestly, everyone has a political and personal worldview. Even if you don't agree with someone's, it doesn't mean you can't get along, or even be friends. And when it comes to games, none of that stuff even matters. It's a game. Play it, have fun, and let the worries of the world take a back seat while you play.

Mystery booster packs are organized by color so that you have two of each color in the common / uncommon slot.

Wow I must have really lucked out because I got an explosive box, got Elish Norn, Demonic Tutor, Carpet of Flowers, Minamo at the Water's Edge, A Grave Titan, 2x Braid of Fire, Supreme Verdict, Ascetism, Meren of Clan Nel Toth and Teferi Temporal Archamage,
Also one's whose price really dropped but are still great like Kiki-Jiki, Ashnod's Alter, Skull-Clamp, Propaganda, Torment of Hellfire, Grasp of Fate, Karthus Tyrant of Jund, Mishra's Bauble, Maelstrom Nexus, etc. there's a lot of value in this set but also just a lot of fun cards.
Mystery set is 1 of the best sets

I'm sure I'm not the first to say this but the slots are a bit odd, its 2 common or uncommon of each color, 1 artifact and 1 multicolor and the final three are old frame, rare or mythic, and holographic. You can potentially get 3 rates, and even the common and uncommon slots have quite a few 5 dollar and up cards, even 20 bucks

No demonic foil. Only certain cards have the foil treatment this set but none of them are foil in the base set.

I watch and enjoy your other channels, just stopped by here to ask why you are supporting MTG again? This is a shit company that is more worried about the pronouns on the cards than whether or not cards are broken. How many 30 dollar boxes of basic lands are you going to buy?
