Hey there, movie bestie! I'm always happy to get your notification. I LOVED Stoker. My best friend likes to watch a movie racing to guess what is going to happen. It drives me insane. Especially with a movie like Stoker, just suspend your disbelief and follow what the movie takes you.... At least if you like it we'll enough to watch more than once, THEN DIG FOR details and parallels. I thought River Wild was a great action film. I never would have paid any attention to this type of thriller had Mel Streep not been involved. Just like I'd have never watched The Edge if Anthony Hopkins hasn't been it. I found Vacancy to have a bit of a Hitchcock feel to it. Once we're no longer trapped in the car with 2 angry people, I was able to enjoy, by which I mean, be horrified and yell at the TV. Loved History of Violence and Viggo. I love the movies you've cheated for this collection because they all have a threat, like the perfect day of a precious spice that you aren't aware of, but the whole meal would be unfulfilling and unremarkable without it.. I'll be updating my movie queue, as always. Time is too precious to waste it on crappy movies.
