While in the Philippines I enjoyed playing Cebu Country Club's golf course. Hiring a girl to carry an umbrella to keep the sun off me while we walked the round with some of Cebu Country Club's members was a new and pleasant experience. I played with a member who spoke well about playing earlier at Alta Vista Country Club.
Yes, but when you tried the cuisine did you try the Balut? I have a buddy that keeps trying to get me to eat Balut and I just won't do it. Dinuguan is another one. I tried it. Not up to my Anglo taste buds. There are some things I really love. Pancit and Lumpia are traditional favorites for sure. I didn't care for the deserts. My wife's friend makes them all the time and Sarina likes them ok but they don't thrill me. Good seeing you on the road again. The Filipinos ae wonderful people. Among the friendliest you can find.
Ayos Gabe! You are correct about Tanduay Rum. Coca Cola in the Philippines also tastes better. Coke and Tanduay equals the best Rum and Coke cocktail..
My friend was hosting a Podcasting Conference in the Philippines so I went to help him because I lived there for a year. I went to Japan to pick up the prototype putter I’m designing and shoot videos.
The first hole feel goods really make a difference! Looks like you're having a lot of fun Gabe, cheers!
Very true David. It sets the tone for the whole round.
Drove the green!!! That is awesome!! I am glad to some videos on this channel.. the view looked amazing!
Spectacular views, thanks Carlos!

Oh yes, I had it when I lived there. It was a one and only time. I ate a few other exotic things that aren’t mentionable here 🤣

That’s very true, the Coke has real sugar there not the high fructose corn syrup junk we have in the US.

Wow that’s so sick! How much was a round? I have to try that spot
Btw nice drive, driving the green 🔥
@@bfrank2426 Much appreciated. It's approx $70 USD to play
Ruthless putting Gabe.
I was on point this day. Crazy how I can have days where nothing goes in, and others where I feel like I can make anything. Golf is wild.
what happened to the fairway in that course? why is it all brown
They had months of no rain.
Drought. Went 3 months with no rain
Why did you choose to go to the Philippines? And Japan?

Cool! Can’t wait to see the Putter!!
Fairways look super rough
They were, it hadn't rained in months. From what I heard, that's definitely not the norm.
