While in the Philippines I enjoyed playing Cebu Country Club's golf course. Hiring a girl to carry an umbrella to keep the sun off me while we walked the round with some of Cebu Country Club's members was a new and pleasant experience. I played with a member who spoke well about playing earlier at Alta Vista Country Club.

Congrats on your association with Docus, Gabe. I've been a long time subscriber with your channels and love your content. From your early review and travel videos to now club collaboration is an awesome journey. Wishing you all the success. The craftmanship and innovation in Japan is always inspiring. I ran sales for Asia for 10 years back in the 90's for the leading US company in rapid prototyping & additive manufacturing technology now generally just called 3D printing and our Asia headquarters was in Japan. Loved spending time there and occasionally got in a game of golf.

I love the looks of Docus clubs. Hope they make them affordable for a mere mortal like me someday. Would love to test out there equipment and compare it to our big brands in he states.

Yes, but when you tried the cuisine did you try the Balut? I have a buddy that keeps trying to get me to eat Balut and I just won't do it. Dinuguan is another one. I tried it. Not up to my Anglo taste buds. There are some things I really love. Pancit and Lumpia are traditional favorites for sure. I didn't care for the deserts. My wife's friend makes them all the time and Sarina likes them ok but they don't thrill me. Good seeing you on the road again. The Filipinos ae wonderful people. Among the friendliest you can find.

Thank you for this series! I am always amazed at how many Americans, even well traveled ones, have never been to Asia. As you said, afraid to stretch themselves perhaps? Personally, I think they are missing out on amazing vacations with food and experiences that are far more exotic than anything you get in Europe. And, depending on the country, a lot cheaper to boot! I am very much looking forward to watching your adventures.

Retired to the Philippines from the USA eight years ago. Golf twice weekly at a country club, member monthly rate is about $85.00. I do miss Tex-Mex, nice roads and some of the courses back there but overall the Philippines is a wonderful retirement destination. Nice to see you had a great time, take care and be blessed.
