She spoke 5 languages, including English (better than just about anyone I know) and had to take citizenship classes to prove she knew our constitution, history and laws. I am ashamed at what our immigration situation has become. My mum came in 1960. She’s soon to be 84 years old and never misses a chance to vote.

This was the shortest trial I’ve ever seen. Less than a week. It would have been much shorter if they hadn’t kept asking so many redundant questions.
