    In order for this to work you shoukd place double the amount of money on your points than in the field..also you dont need to play the pass line in this strategy at a $5 minimum table it works like this
    Field = $5
    5= $10. 6= $12. 8= $12
    Always making a ptofit of atleast $5 unless 7 rolls

    If you only play when the point is 5 6 or 8 you can put 30 $ on all three of those numbers and 15 on the field. That way you really make at least 15 $ per roll. if you stack 250 on the 6 and 8 246 on the 5 and 125 on the fieled the least you can make is 125$. Make this bet for one throw only. Usually after someone has already rolled a seven. This is a one time bet then walk away. Trust me you will win more often then you lose and take your 125 and have drinks on the house.

    I'm about to play for my first time at a casino but I think I'm a bit screwed because of the house rules. They have a $5 min/max bet and odds are 5x only. That's 5x or nothing. Would seem that I would need to start with a larger pool of cash to play on these tables as opposed to the odds that you were able to play in the videos.

    Helpful hint for those who are new to craps: SYSTEMS DO NOT WORK. The Field is one of the worse bets on the table. The only way to stand a chance is to minimize the house advantage. To do that, bet pass line/come and take max odds OR bet don't pass/don't come and lay max odds. It reduces the house advantage to less than 1.5%.

    • @amphibdriver1
      @amphibdriver1 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      EastPeakSlim -----> If you bet $10 on the 5 and $12 on the 6 and 8, and only $ 7 in the field, you have all of the numbers on the crap table covered. Each roll makes you $7 profit. You only give each shooter two rolls of the dice after they make their come out point.

    • @EastPeakSlim
      @EastPeakSlim 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You mistakenly assume that no 7 will show up in your rolls.

    • @amphibdriver1
      @amphibdriver1 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      EastPeakSlim--- > If a 7 does roll on the first roll of the dice after the point is rolled or on the second roll of the dice after the point is made , the I wait until it's my turn to shoot the dice and set my dice in a pattern to throw inside numbers, which is 6 and 5 on top and 4 and 4 facing me. You might not believe that setting the dice in a pattern will influence the numbers that are rolled, but I have done this long enough, and I've seen lots of guys on TH-cam set dice to know that this works to influence a pattern of numbers that are rolled. Look up Dangerous Arm Craps and Bone Thrower on TH-cam and watch these two guys set their dice and then make your own decision. Better yet, watch all of this guys video's and see how consistent he is at setting his dice to influence dice numbers to be rolled and also how long his rolls are with out rolling the number 7 by setting his dice. Once I make six rolls of the dice and don't roll a 7, then I've recovered the $42 that I lost on the first shooter that I bet on that rolled a 7. Once I have recovered the $42 that I lost, I then turn off my place bets and take off the money that I have in the field , ' if the field bet is still there ', and only have $5 placed on the pass line to loose. I find that it's best to play this way when you know how some one shoots their dice and how they roll before you make a Iron Cross bet like this.

      EastPeakSim-----> If the crap table that I'm on starts rolling more 7's and hardly any point numbers, then I play a progressive don' crap system.

    Great videos! But to balance some comments, when the dice roll 7s and your iron cross is set, you still lose. I played the iron cross and lost my $150 in an hour with poorly timed 7s. It’s clever, but it’s still called gambling for a reason!

    • @crossefire01
      @crossefire01 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      What he means is, he risked $5 and hit 7 on the come out. So he doubled his money. Instead of raking that $5 that he won, it was free money so he lets it ride. In actuality, it's just a single roll winner that he's leaving out there effectively doubling his bet.

  • @roym8571

    The "Iron Cross Strategy" is perhaps one of the WORST grinds of playing craps! If you play a minimum on a $5.00 game, suppose the point 10. So you place the 5 , 6, and the 8 and your $5(ANY GRIND INVOLVING THE FIELD IS A LOSER) field bet and you back your $5 Pass Line Bet with double odds. So, you have $37 of your money on the layout. The six, seven and the eight are the most commonly rolled numbers. Unless you roll a couple of 2's or 12's, you'll have to roll at least 10 numbers JUST TO GET YOUR BUY-IN BACK. And everyone knows there are six ways to roll a 7. Even a child of 5 could tell you that. Here's another one for you....
    CASINOS DON'T STAY OPEN BY GIVING AWAY MONEY

    Can you please make a video for winning at cold tables? Recently I went to Vegas and lost horribly one night because so many shooters were point-7ing... what's the best way to play that???

    • @hulenbryant5637
      @hulenbryant5637 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Andrew if you haven't seen any videos yet, search for "betting the don't pass". If a table goes "cold", you can bet the don't pass and don't come bets. However, just realize you are betting "wrong" or betting "the dark side" and won't win you any friends at the table.

    • @amphibdriver1
      @amphibdriver1 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Andrew Cuevas ------> On a really cold crap table I bet $1dollar for each $5 dollars that I place on the don't pass line to protect me from the number 7 on the come out roll. You can roll a 7 six ways and but only roll an 11 one way, so I don't worry about the number 11 rolling on the come out roll, but I do worry the number 7. If the number 7 rolls on the come out roll , you loose your don't pass bet, but you make $4 for each $1 that you bet on any 7 on the come out roll. If the first shooter that I bet $5 dollars against on the don't pass line rolls their point, I wait them out, until the next dice shooter makes a point, and then go up to $10 on the don't pass line and $2 on any 7. If the second shooter makes a point I bet $15 on the don't pass and $3 on any seven on the come out roll on the third dice shooter. I just keep increasing my don't pass bets each time I loose against a shooter.

    hi I'm watching all your craps videos since I'll be going to Vegas next month and wanna play. I'm wondering though, when you want to put odds on a pass line does it always have to be double?? or if I put 5 dollars on a pass line and want to odd up can it also just be 5 dollars instead of double???? thanks!!!

    • @mikesanchez7386
      @mikesanchez7386 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No, it doesn't always have to be double, but it cannot be less that your original bet. So if you have $5 on the pass line, the least your odds can be is $5. So to answer your question: No, it doesn't not always have to be double. I think he just likes to play double odds, which I agree with 👍🏼

    Iron Cross minimum strategy like this risks 6 units for an average win under 1 unit, meaning that 8 or 9 rolls before a 7 must occur.
    The dice provide an average of 6 rolls between 7s.
    In conclusion, the better can expect an average loss over 2.5 units per roll sequence, or per shooter.
    When you approach a table in Las Vegas, count the number of players, and multiply by 2.5, and then multiply by the table minimum, and expect to lose that much per round of shooters.
    At a $5 table, with 8 shooters, that is 8 x 2.5 = 20, 20 x $5 = $100 loss per round.
    The worst deviation is, as usual in Las Vegas, an early positive deviation. So, losing the first round is better for you that winning early. Winning early erects in less intelligent people who are trained in US schools to scoff at factual truths, a long term doubt that this strategy is a loser, so then, the scoffing, avaerage American nets a greater loss by playing more losing rounds before accepting empirical evidence, and allowing that factual evidence to supplement the expected negative result, netting an overall greater loss.

    Already inaccurate. Iron Cross bets on the place bets are never the same unit size as the Field. At a minimum you should have 1 unit more on your example 6 & 8.

    • @hispls
      @hispls 8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Because betting against your own bets only increases the house edge and reduces your potential winnings on a good run. Your best case scenario to pick up any decent winnings with this method is lots of craps and field rolls, 5, 6, and 8 are all lower house edge and if you have a good string of those come up you'll win virtually nothing since you're losing on the field each time.
      If you can't find a table that pays 3X on one end of the field that area should be avoided since it's rather a high house edge.

    • @hulenbryant5637
      @hulenbryant5637 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Pretty much, the best bets at the table are placing the 6 & 8, and odds bets on the pass line. They have the lowest house edge as hispls explained. The payout on the 4,5,9, and 10 are very bad in the field (you are losing $2/4 ea. time the number is hit compared to the place bet. But I think people play it because of the lower amount of money you have out on the table. It may be a good way to manage a bankroll if you dont' have much money to handle a down turn on the table, but in the long run the odds are worse.

    • @hispls
      @hispls 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Dave S
      It really doesn't matter how much. Field is generally a big house edge (worse if neither end pays triple), and betting against yourself only compounds the house edge.
      Might as well walk up to a roulette table, bet every number plus the 0 and 00 so that something will happen every spin (though you'll pay 38 to get 36 back every time).

    • @cameronwells82
      @cameronwells82 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      The house edge on a 00 roulette table is 5.26% and the field bet if its triple on either one of 2 or 12 (Like most vegas casinos do) is 2.78%. So your analogy is crap. Passline bet is 1.41% and place the 6 or 8 is 1.52% so the field bet isn't a terrible bet. Placing the 5 or 9 for example is 4.00% house edge.
