When i was a little girl i wanted to be a photographer for National Geographic. My cousin was disabled and we would spend hours pouring over National Geographic with him dreaming of just walking through some of those locations and me dreaming of taking all the photographs. To this day, it's still the dream i wish would have been a reality. Robert is such an amazing and inspiring young person.

I always had a burning interest in photography, ever since I was really young. I'm taking a photography class this year, and Robert's photo's inspire me a lot. It's always nice to see it be explained out in the field, and I can't wait to see part 2!
As a photographer, this video was actually super well put together and is a great resource for outdoor and nature photography. He covers so many key aspects but in bite sized, very understandable ways. He’d be a great teacher, in general. Whatever he wants to teach, he’d be great at it.

Looks like he is using Lightroom for editing software! Not sure which camera it is or lense for that matter. I’m sure there may be an article somewhere!

Robert would make a wonderful teacher. This video is so informative but everything is in easy to understand, bite sized pieces. This video is a great resource for anyone trying to learn outdoor or nature photography.

I absolutely loved seeing all the animals but my favorite part is when he was shooting photos of the kangaroos there was two in the background arguing and boxing back and forth the entire time 🤣🤣🤣😆😆😆

I just love that Robert is still using a DSLR (Digital Single Lens Reflex) camera here! I like the ideas & concepts on Mirrorless cameras, but still love SLR’s/DSLR’s too. Of course having been a life long Canon fanboy, I’m just over the moon happy to see him shooting Canon gear!!
Are these the recommended cameras for shooting wildlife or are there others that might do the job better? Just curious since you seem to know your cameras!
@@ramiledepaiva7525 I love my Canons, but honestly any more most any brand of Camera is going to get the job done, DSLR, or Mirrorless. Some people do feel DSLR’s are still slightly better at action shots, so sports, sometimes animals, anything were there is fast motion. Mirrorless cameras are catching up though. Then you have the debate about full frame, or cropped sensors. Again some people like a cropped sensor for sports & wildlife photography. Big thing I’d say is go with a brand that’s been around a while, Canon, Nikon, Sony, Pentax, etc. research them, read up, watch videos, see how they work. If there is a camera store near you, go in and see if they will let you look at a demo model, a lot of them will. Go with the one that has the features you like/want, the model you like, and that fits your budget. A lot of people suggest spending more on your lenses than the camera, & that is sound advice. Also you can save a lot of money buying used gear in good shape! Of corse since camera companies have stopped making, or are gradually stopping making DSLR’s & their lenses, the price should start coming down a bit more on them in time. Hope I’ve helped without overloading you! 😅

My favorite was a rabbit that came right up to me. I had my old Oympus camera I wanted to shoot landscapes with, and this rabbit surprised me. I couldn't been more than 3 feet away from him. Was so cool.

Qld mid-winter (Jun-Jul) late afternoon is some of the most beautiful light anywhere in the world. No smog, blue skies. The only problem is it only lasts for a very short time. Twilight is on you in minutes.
