Great video guys, I am assuming that the white lens was the new 100-500mm. Can you explain the lens for the Rhino on the tripod? I think its the 100-500mm with an 2x Extender. Robert already explained you were using the RF 15-35mm. Would it be possible to do a new video on the 600mm and 800mm new lenses and possibly do one on old EF glass too. Maybe a comparison between the R6 and R5 as well.
Thanks for watching! The photo we took of the Rhino using the tripod was with the Canon EOS R5 with Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS II USM Lens with EF2XIII Extender & EF to RF Lens Adapter - it's at 0:51 in the video :) We used this combo for the 8K footage of the giraffe also. Glad you enjoyed the video!
Fantastic video guys - really great footage and stills. Also was a bonus to see Bob involved and his thoughts... Awesome location to test out this beast!
Hi bishfrie! Thanks for your comment. We are a retail store with a showroom in Brisbane and a click and collect facility in Sydney. We've got the new RF 800mm in stock in Brisbane - if you'd like to order online or over the phone we can ship the lens out to you, or you can collect from us in Sydney. Check out the lens online here: www.camerapro.com.au/new-releases/canon-rf-800mm-f-11-is-stm-lens.html Let us know if you need anything else! :)
Fantastic camera , when will it be in store. Never been to that zoo ,but would the 100-500 range of the new RF see much use. If not safari no doubt when I can fly again.
One of these guys is really comfortable presenting and interviewing. It's probably daunting trying to do this with a guy who was born in front of the camera!!
We used a variety of RF and EF lenses throughout the day for both the photos and video - RF 70-200mm, RF 15-35mm, RF 24-105mm and EF 100-400mm II with 2x teleconverter. :)
This would have been better had he shown how to focus past fencing or shoot through glass like the rest of us who are not named Irwin and can't get the access at zoos that he does.
What’s really impressive to me is I know Lightroom can’t process the R5 raw files without a convert to DNG right now, so you are showing JPEG examples straight out of the camera and they look THAT GOOD. Let’s really think about what happened there: the camera compressed the raw into jpeg so some quality loss there, then you showed it on TH-cam so some MORE compression and quality loss...and the photos look SO good even STILL!?!? I’m sold!
Forgot to mention the class leading overheating 😂 I guess with Australian weather these short 8k clips were all they managed to film before it overheated and turned off?
Thanks! This past Jan I convinced my wife to let me switch back to Canon from Sony and get the Canon R with some nice lenses. Among our deal making I added the caveat that when Canon releases the next version I could sell the R and get the new model. Well that day has come and she gawked at the price, but she respects the Irwin family and their productions. I can now say that my R5 preorder was Robert Irwin approved, wiping the $4k price tag off my tab!!😁
Nice to see this camera being used for that which it was designed... photography! So sick of the video youtubers and vloggers using photo cameras to make "films". LOL
Ikr, those are so broke that they cant afford a cinema line camera... instead keep bashing on canon's overheating issue on the 8K yet forget to address how awful the colour science on that brand of camera (IF U know what i mean) lol
Robert Irwin is such a great presenter! You can see how natural, comfortable and conversational he is on camera.
Thanks for watching! We loved Robert's enthusiasm for the camera :)
A tip : you can watch movies on Flixzone. Been using them for watching lots of of movies lately.
@Dangelo Valentin Yup, been watching on flixzone for months myself :D
Just amazing to see Robert all grown up!
Love this video! So great to see the R5 in action with some wildlife photography! 🐊
We love wildlife photography!
Amazing Robert has inspired me to do more wildlfe photography great video
Love your work Robert Irwin!
Thanks for watching!

@@CameraProTV Thanks, I see that now. Does that mean that the auto focus worked on the R5 with the extender over F8 ? Or was it manual focus ?
Fantastic video guys - really great footage and stills. Also was a bonus to see Bob involved and his thoughts... Awesome location to test out this beast!
Thanks for watching! :)
Hi. Do u represent a store? Do u deliver to sydney? Also. Do u have the new 800mm f11 in stock noe or in the near future?

Bobby's all grown up. Gee his dad must be lookin down - proud as punch! great video guys!
Thanks for watching!
Great images and footage on an overcast day!
It was definitely a challenge shooting in the rain but still a lot of fun :)
I can wait to get my hands on this amazing camera
Great video team! Keep up the great work ❤️
Thanks Nik!

The new RF 100-500 lens will be fantastic for wildlife photos, we can't wait to get our hands on it!
The teleconverters will work with that lens also but only when its 300-500mm. They won't work when the lens focal length is less than 300mm
One of these guys is really comfortable presenting and interviewing. It's probably daunting trying to do this with a guy who was born in front of the camera!!
Thanks for watching! Robert sure is a natural in front of the camera! :)
Great video, i would go with Eos D90 with 100-400 mark ii or 70-200 IS ii anyday.
Thanks for sharing!
What does Robert shoot with currently?
Canon 1DX MKII :)
Great video. Too bad TH-cam compresses the hell out of the 4k, but I am sure you get to enjoy it.
Thanks Barry!
Is he not the son of the crocodile Hunter?! Look how He has grown. His mom should be proud.
The photos of the bird in flight are absolutely awesome.
Robert's photos are fantastic!
Looking forward to testing this cam...:)
I think you'll love it Damian! - Louise :)
Really a nice one ❤️
Thank you!
Robert gave good info on the camera.
We think so too! He loved using the R5!
What lens did you use?
We used a variety of RF and EF lenses throughout the day for both the photos and video - RF 70-200mm, RF 15-35mm, RF 24-105mm and EF 100-400mm II with 2x teleconverter. :)
awesome...with Irwin and R5 can't go wrong;)
We agree!
Excellent video not a Canon shooter myself but a good review.
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!

Yep - we had to shoot in JPG and were stunned with the results! :) Thanks for watching!
Did the Body overheat while taking photos
We didn't have any issues with the R5 overheating :)
Forgot to mention the class leading overheating 😂
I guess with Australian weather these short 8k clips were all they managed to film before it overheated and turned off?
We didn't have any issues with the R5 overheating but it was a cold day, only 16 degrees C. :)
Awesome video
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!
Great video team!
Cheers Lachlan!
Would love it but can't afford it

What a story! Hope you love the R5 :)
2020 has been horrible but this made it better :)
Glad to hear you enjoyed the video! :)
great.. please do more R5 videos
We would love to do more R5 videos!
Great Video , Awesome to Robert Irwin on scene , he is not only a great photographer but very easy on the eye !!!
Nice to see this camera being used for that which it was designed... photography! So sick of the video youtubers and vloggers using photo cameras to make "films". LOL
So true,I was starting to think there are no stills photographers around
Ikr, those are so broke that they cant afford a cinema line camera... instead keep bashing on canon's overheating issue on the 8K yet forget to address how awful the colour science on that brand of camera (IF U know what i mean) lol
lol the 20fps for the tortoise got me
Hahaha ;)
@@CameraProTV Couldn't have found a better animal to show it with.
Crikey !
I may be offensive, sorry. Robert, you are a talented wildlife photographer. Don't be crocodile hunter. Be crocodile photographer.
