I tried the EVE Online Event before. BUT ultimately, the reality is, I didn't try it fully. So I decided to grind myself from the lowest Tier of Capsuleer Day XXI Filament to highest Tier - that worked. However, the rewards... were something else.
I spent a whole evening on it, I have regrets. But the skins are nice!

tbf you have suboptimal ship to run it, i can do one in 10-12 min with average profit of 40 mil which is 200-240 mil/h

(also if you do one zirnitra in more that 20s let alone mess up the hack are you even trying? XD)
How to run:
1. Get in fleet with yourself.
2. Sensor boost - On
3. Cargo scan unmarked can.
4. Mark the can with 1 if it is worth otherwise mark with 2
5.Repeat from step 3 until all the cans are scanned / too far to scan.
6. Sensor boost - Off, Microwarp - On
7. Hack the cans. If you get into scanning range of one of the unmarked cans cargoscan it.
8. Leave.
(if you have lower ship handling skills i would recommend switching nanofibers for inertial stabilizers, otherwise you might find yourself messing up cans by proximity, you still might have to manual pilot your way to the can if you go through white cloud but i think that shouldn't be a problem)

Any time eve has lame events i just play other games. CCP being greedy just dose not interest me, hopefully the June event is more fun otherwise ill just let my ships rust in alpha mode until CCP dose something worth my time/money.

Updates are good. I think the actual update coming will be super good, so if the next event is bad, just play the game normally. It is what I do.
