The Tommee Tippee machine states to put the formula in BEFORE the hot shot of water...for the reasons you say, to kill the bacteria in the formula instantly. You then give it a swirl and put it back. You don't need to rush with the powder, it should be in from the start 😊

it's not good at all, it doesn't dissolve the milk properly, how does water boil normally at over 80 degrees minimum
