You've shown my lovely town it a good light as over the years people have made burnley to be a rundown town, in places it is. But we've got such lovely people and different ethnic back grounds, love this town 👍🏻

I enjoyed my visit, it's probably not the first place people think of seeing, but there are some really good spots there. Thank you for taking the time to watch my video, I really appreciate it.

Burnley definitely has some real beauty spots and the people are so friendly - it beats London any day 👍

I also love Townley Hall and Gawthorpe Hall in Burnley.

There are some nice places in Burnley, I was surprised by the viaduct.

A great video which shows some of the beauty you can find in Burnley. If anyone is interested in visiting, you can easily find on the web many more amazing places/spaces. What a change, as many have already commented, on showing the good. Most videos, if they want to set a scene that Burnley is 'this way inclined', or has voted the 'wrong way', only show the run down areas. This is partly due to neglict from the council. As a resident of the 'run down areas', I know that a couple of generations ago, these areas were far from run down and were full of home owners that respected their homes, the area, themselves, and the town. Sadly, towns like Burnley, across the country, have been left behind.

Thanks for a lovely intro to my home town. I've not lived there for 20 years, and I'm currently living in Knaresborough, North Yorkshire. I'll pass this link on to Yorkshire friends who are curious about Burnley 🙂

Funnily enough this was far from my most memorable day out, but people seem to really like watching the footage. I hope you get to revisit Burnley some time!

There are some nice parts, the town itself is fairly standard of N.W England, but the natural scenery is amazing. I recommend Clitheroe too.

Looks very lovely cannot wait to go see Burnley play at Turf Moor and to visit the town (a claret fan from the US) ... just out of curiosity what kit were you wearing??

That's fantastic, I hope you have a great time over here!
That was a Dinamo Zagreb shirt I was wearing, I went through a phase of buying cheap shirts of far-flung football teams. Nowadays my collection is more refined.

Odd that you mention the Townley Park but not the Hall and images of St Peter's Church but don't actually mention it. Otherwise, this makes a refreshing change.

All fair points, I'm not sure why I didn't talk about Townley Hall. With churches I like filming them just because I like ecclesiastical architecture, although some of them I do mention in detail.
Thank you for the comment and taking time to watch my video.
