LMAOO okay watching this over I realized how it sounded like I was yelling when saying "three full YEARS" but I swear to god that was just me accidentally getting closer to the mic and talking a little louder, not me screaming
Nah the only guilt that should ever be had with art is if you knowingly took work that wasn’t your own and passed it off as your own. Your videos and work are amazing.
Those stickers are ADORABLE! I kind of had the opposite experience as an artist. In that, as a mostly digital artist, I felt like I had to start doing more traditional art if I wanted my channel to grow because I feel like that's just what people want to see on YT. Personally I love watching both. :)
thank you so much!! and aahh I'm so sorry to hear that ): I also have really only seen people make traditional videos on TH-cam (although that could just be because that's what I watch more, therefore that's what I get recommended to me) so that further perpetuates in my brain that traditional art is what people want to see? its exhausting lol. I hope you are able to make more and more of the art you want to!! ❤️
I was only interested in traditional art videos until I got myself and ipad and started drawing in digital. Now I find digital art videos as fascinating as the traditional art ones. I’m happy for you enjoying your art and not caring about the mental voice that tries to stop us from doing things ❤❤❤
its so fun exploring other mediums, especially with digital being such a different experience!! I'm glad to hear people like watching digital content too ❤️❤️
Sooo glad I’m not the only one who had devices taken away for years as a time as a teen over stupid reasons! I feel like my digital art is almost lacking bc of those years lost
I'm sorry that also happened to you 💀 I also felt that way for SOO long. especially losing younger years when I had so much more time and energy to draw and therefore would've been able to learn the most in the shortest time 😔
These designs are so cute!! If you ever made them as individual vinyl stickers, I would be all over them! It’s so crazy the random things we latch onto and feel insecure about. Like, I’m preparing to sell at in-person markets for the first time and I feel so nervous about whether or not my overall body of work is cohesive or not. And if it’s not, people are gonna think I’m unprofessional and a fraud and they won’t buy anything - which is crazy. I think because art is so personal, it really becomes a part of your identity. And because the mediums we use are so tied into our art and therefore our identities, it can really feel like. “Fuck, who am I without watercolour?” (This is me talking about myself, to be clear lol) Especially with analogue art, I think being an analogue artist is almost an identity trait in a way that it isn’t with digital. And I think I need to work on letting that go and treating digital as just another medium I can potentially work with. Also I think the way the internet treats sketchbooks is So Fucked Up. But this comment is already a million years long so I won’t get into that
thank you so much!! I honestly don't know if the file sizes for each sticker are large enough to work for a full sized sticker, I've been so evil to myself lately and been using such small canvases?? 💀 good luck with selling inperson!! I've always wanted to do markets and shows and conventions but that entire process is SO intimidating, I admire you for giving it a shot!! and yes yes especially when you favor a medium above others, it feels like a betrayal to go without using it for so long. my brain 100% goes down the pipeline of "I mainly use this medium > not using this medium means I'm not being true to my art > etc" and its silly and exhausting 😤
omg this video is so relatable! i always feel guilty when there's massive gaps in my sketchbook cos ive been doing digital art instead :( the food stickers are coming out so great!!!
I'm so glad I'm not the only one who experiences that feeling, it really sucks!! I think I might start printing my finished digital pieces and taping them in my sketchbook? I feel like that'd help 😂 and thank you so much!! ❤️❤️
@@tirameowsu omg yes ive been thinking of doing the same thing! ive had my current sketchbook since the end of last year and still havent done anything for the first page...its so daunting! but i reckon im gonna use the messed up stickers i made (theyre little fruit cats!) as the front page! so that way i dont have to draw anything haha. might paint the page a flat yellow or smth in acrylic for a bit of pizazz haha but thats as far as im willing to go
I just been drawing for 13 years I mean it’s always been traditional art I’ve done even a a kid but I recently got a iPad and I never got the chance to draw digital so it’s like a whole new world for me I love it 🥰
I didn’t like early digital speed paintings, because with all the zooming and just the screen and nothing else they gave me headaches watching them, but nowadays with the option to film tablets and a lot of people doing real time stuff it’s way better. So I enjoy watching both.
that's so valid, old TH-cam videos being screen captures that were sped up like 15x were not easy on the eyes 😂 thank you so much for your input, that makes me feel a lot better 🥺❤️
Omg I love your cute lil snack designs. I started watching you back in the day for your traditional art but I'm so exited to see more of your digital art. Do you mind if I ask what brush you used in this video? I love the effect it made when you were creating the frosting packaging :o)
aahhh thank you so much!!! 🥺🥺❤️❤️❤️ and I actually had to really dig to figure out what brush I used (had to watch the video and try to compare 😂, I always forget what brushes I use and it feels like a curse) and its actually a default brush! its "flat brush" in the painting tab!
i totally get it, i feel like that happens to me all the time lolol. tysm for going through the trouble of finding it thou, it's much appreciated and means a lot ⸜(。˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝♡

Have you considered making planner stickers? I do reading journal and stickers are a must
I recently picked up some cheaper sticker paper (non vinyl) and was considering doing this!! I just didn't know if there would be interest :o

oh that's so sweet to hear, thank you so much 🥺❤️❤️ and aahh congrats on starting your own channel!! 🥰
