    Incredibly powerful sermon that brought me to tears of humility and convicted me. God bless you, Pastor Jonathan, for helping me appropriately shift my focus from the person who hurt me and has caused me anger and distress to the sins that I’ve committed against our Heavenly Father. Another edifying sermon by Pastor Jonathan that is helping me work out my salvation. Hallelujah and amen!

    This whole sermon brought up every thought of pain that was caused in my life that has caused anxiety and fear. Fear and anger are 2 closely linked emotions. It's like the fight or flight instinct that occurs in most animals. Either way it's non-productive.
    Forgiveness is really hard when the other person expresses the fact that they are not sorry at all. For Rachel's abuser I am so glad he pleaded guilty and I hope he turns to Jesus now. Corrie Ten Boom wrote a fantastic book about what happened to her in a concentration camp and how she had to later on face her worst abuser and forgive him. People can only do this with God's Holy Spirit.
    We have to try and leave it with God, knowing he oversees it all and focus on the fact that He wants us to have our life to the full.

    I'm at 11:46 right now. Like Pokluda, o used to be a train wreck. My chief issue with these teachings so far is that at 22 years sober I still feel a weird temptation to abuse the people I had hurt. It's not right, and I am very wary of that part of myself. If we keep forgiving some people, they will not change.

    I hit a wall the minute he says forgiveness is for us. That we always have the memories of it. The forgiveness is only for us. That seemed selfish to me. I really struggle with this issue. Because I’ve forgiven so many times. But those ones that I forgive continue to hurt me. That pain never goes away. So I know the pain, the health issues it causes. I’m continually thinking of it.

    If you could make your podcasts louder it would help me out a lot because I like to listen to these on my shower speaker and it’s hard to hear even with volume all the way up. It’s not as loud as other videos I listen to for some reason. Love your podcasts!!

    Don't pick up the offense, it's the cheese sitting on the mousetrap of anger. Once you have the cheese, you're in bondage to anger. Stay free, forgive and be forgiven when you mess up. God loves us all, every one of us.... Let Him

    There's a difference between an advocacy group (#meToo, BLM. ECT bringing awareness to the social injustices in society versus anger. That's biblical my friend.

    • @Lazaun
      @Lazaun 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      My jaw dropped off … he didn’t say “BLM is a anger group” your comment is STILL VALID

    • @AmariNaija
      @AmariNaija ปีที่แล้ว

      You have to look at the spiritual side and not in your feelings. BLM the leader is a witch and you need to watch what you support. Yes everyones lives do matter but bring awareness on your own some of these groups do not have your best interest at heart. And there is a deeper meaning to the metoo movement. He’s saying these groups are formed by people hating a common denominator. You have to release that. Satan is the leader of this world and a lot of things you think are helpful or worth supporting have a much darker deeper meaning than you think.

    Hello,🦋🦋 🌷🌷May I share an Old Testament Verse with you from Daniel 7:14 "And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a Kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should SERVE Him; his dominion is an Everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom shall not pass away, and His Kingdom that which shall not be destroyed." Also, can I share Isaiah 53:5 " But HE was WOUNDED For our TRANSGRESSIONS, he was BRUISED for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and with His STRIPES we are HEALED."
    God the Father loves you so much that He sent Holy Sinless Jesus (His Holy Son) to earth to be born of a virgin.Then, to grow up and die on a cross for our sins. He was in the tomb for 3 days, then Father God raised Holy and Sinless Jesus Christ (Y'shua) to Life! He appeared to people and went back to Heaven. We must receive Sinless Jesus sincerely to be God's child(John 1:12).After we get saved by grace through faith in Christ, if we truly love the Lord Jesus Christ, then we will obey Jesus(John 14:15). Mark 1:15 "And saying, the time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: Repent ye, and believe the gospel." Jesus said in John 14:15 "If you love Me, keep My commandments. "There's a real hell. It says in Revelation 21:8 "But for the cowardly, & unbelieving, and abominable, and murderers, & immoral persons sorcerers & idolaters & all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire & brimstone..." Please sincerely receive Holy Jesus and put your true faith and trust in Him today and please repent. Will you have a Real encounter with Holy Lord Jesus (Y'shua is His Hebrew Name) and stay in a Genuine relationship with Him daily please?
