Please pray for me. I’m dealing with a very bad anger issue and it has spilled out into my marriage. It has been a very long battle that I continue to lose trying to fix it on my own. I've been struggling with anger lately.. w myself, my family, my past, and current circumstances. This message has been a blessing..thank you Pastor Craig.
I listened to that twice and going to listen again. It started to soften my hardened heart. Anger Welled up both times which makes me know Satan has a deep root in me, but I needed to hear this. Psalm 139 will be read. I need Jesus to help me, because the root is deep and needs to be destroyed. I almost cried that's a good sign. Maybe I'm not to far gone? There is a lot of unresolved anger. I need peace!!
Wow, never thought of it this way! Are the two really mutually exclusive? Meaning lack friendships and close connection with people but *think* I have a good relationship with God? If so, I'm in big trouble.

I’m dealing with anger due to someone lying on me and it got me in trouble unfairly. I felt the anger rise up in me this morning when I thought about it.
Please pray for my fiance. He has a bad anger and cussing problem, and just cussed out neighbor out in front of his little girl. He used to be a strong bible believing street preacher, and now he's backsliding. I don't think I can marry him if he doesn't change and he's hindering my walk with the Lord. He's been a Christian since he was 21, now he's 56. I'm 55 and came to Christ almost 7 years ago. Please I need some prayer warriors!
Heavenly Father, I pray for Cherry and her fiancé. Lord, please do a deep work in her fiancé’s heart and mind. Open his eyes and help him realize his spiritual state. I would put everything that I want your guys' help on praying for but I don't really feel like going into detail so I'll just say this: I've been dealing with some pain and anger for 2 years now. I have an old friend that I dropped 2 years ago and I've been noticing for a while now that everytime he's mentioned or I'm reminded of him, I feel the need to almost grind my teeth, clench my fists, and I can feel my blood start to boil. I've been trying to forgive him from a distance, the reason why I don't try and reconcile with him is bc he is someone who lies a lot and loves to manipulate the truth for his own gain and benefit, and I feel like if I were to try and settle things with him in person, he'd just try to give me some full of crap excuse to explain himself and I don't wanna deal with that. And this anger for him intrudes on my friendships with other people who are more forgiving than me. I used to be more forgiving, myself, until my trust was broken again and again. Please pray that God helps me find some way to forgive this guy, I hate living with this anger for him but I always find myself ranting everytime I hear his name. I also need a prayer to help me trust God a lot more in my love life. I won't go into detail but there's this girl I have a bit of history with and I've come to love her so much. The problem is she hasn't been in my life for awhile but I'm still praying to God, hoping with every essence of my being that he'll eventually guide her back into my life. I keep praying for this with a lot of faith but find myself struggling with fully trusting in God's plan for me. Please pray for me, I don't like asking for a lot in other people but at this point, I just want some progress in this situation. I really don't mind waiting on God but that's where my fears, worries, and discouragement hit me the most
Hey man every time you get reminded of this guy and you get angry ask yourself what is the point of getting angry and ranting because at the end of the day that won’t help you and ask yourself what will your life look like once your free of this anger. Just forgive him and move on, holding grudges will never help you and keep on praying and trusting in God to deliver you from this anger.

It's counter intuitive...and it's Biblical. Pray for the guy. Especially when you are riled up. And pray that the girl gets the man God has made for her. Then, may God help you become the man she (or your intended spouse) needs. Bless you and let the Holy Spirit search you.
One thing I’ve noticed about my anger is the patterns that develop before an outburst. In the moment it feels like the outburst came out of nowhere. But when I reflect and unpack, I see there were unhealthy thought patterns that led up to the outburst. Paul tells us to take every thought captive and for good reason. Little seeds planted in our minds will lead to a harvest. Let us, as God’s people, allow the good seeds to be laid in the groundwork of our minds so we can harvest a garden full of righteousness and glory! (Scripture references 2 Corinthians 10:5; Romans 12:2)

I need prayer on a few things. I have trouble fully trusting God. There is this girl in my life, she is amazing! She is beautiful, funny, caring, kind, and loving. She is not perfect, she is a flawed human like the rest of us. I love this girl more than anything in the world, but I have a hard time trusting God that He will either make things work out and allow us to be together and get married, or that He has a better plan for me than her. I have a hard time trusting God’s will for me. I think He had forgotten about me, I think He doesn’t love me enough. But I know those are lies. Pray that I learn to trust God, in the hardest area to trust Him in. I am that guy, i am always right. When he was saying he has a friend like that I thought maybe he knew me. Because that is so me. I have a very hard time accepting my own ignorance in some areas, and I think I am always right. I need prayer to be humble and see other’s ways are sometimes better or even right while mine is wrong.

Dear Heavenly Father we lift up in prayer, @lindamorton7573, and myself; Lord Jesus, They are tired of the sin struggle in their life. they feel distant from You. Their choices have not led them into the right places. they’ve listened to the whispers of their enemy instead of Your words in Scripture, and the result has been disastrous. they once walked with you, their heart tender to Your leading. Yet little by little, they exchanged Your truths for temptations and deceit that led them away from You. Instead of taking thoughts captive and confessing them immediately, they allowed them to grow totally out of control. Repentance was not in their vocabulary. Blame, cover-ups, or trying to reason and rationalize sin never work. They only give birth to deeper sin entanglements. You created them in Your own image, Lord. You know their thoughts before they speak them. You x-ray their heart and see through their excuses and intentions. Your Spirit warned them, but they ignored You. Disappointment and discouragement have taken their toll on them. So today they are confessing their desperate need for You. You have promised that if we will confess our sin, You will forgive us and make us clean again. Lord, they truly need Your forgiveness. Repentance is on their heart and lips. they want to turn around and head another direction-back to You, Lord. But they need Your help. Just as You created the world out of nothing, Lord, create a clean heart out of their “nothingness.” You paid for their sin with your own death. Restore their life and the fellowship we once shared together. You don’t condemn them, and You won’t disown them; they are Your children forever. But they take all the blame-they own their own sin. they are the one who broke fellowship with You and am crushed over the way they treated You and Your name. Lord, root out the darkness and light up their life with Your holy presence. Help them understand what went wrong. Show them how their destructive patterns first began. What did they allow to become more important than loving and honoring You? Why did they seek satisfaction in others or other things than You? You are the only One Who provides all their needs. You fill up the soul with deep down joy and peace beyond all understanding. Lord, may your restoration include new boundaries around their life. they can’t flirt with sin and not be hurt. In restoring them, teach them how to say no again to things which could harm themself or their testimony. If their actions have wounded others, show them where and to whom they need to ask forgiveness or how to make amends. Help them to surround themself with positive encouragers who will hold them accountable and who will speak the truth in love. Truly, shame melts away and we are healed when we confess to others and ask for their help. they understand that their repentance won’t eliminate the consequences of their sin. Knowing that You don’t hold our sins to our account-You remember them no more--and that You place them as far as the east is from the west both humbles them and fills them with amazement and gratitude. No consequence could ever be as painful as knowing how their sin hurt You or how You suffered for them out of love. Your crucifying death gave them eternal life with You. Lord, You place grace next to their regrets and give them hope for a new future. Thank You, Lord, that sin does not disqualify us. Instead, like a runner who has fallen but who gets up again, they, too, are willing to start again and finish the race You have set for them. With Your restoration, Lord, perhaps they can help others find their way back to You again. they will not give their enemy the victory. Instead, they will accept Yours. Instead of a meltdown, with Your help they will allow Your Spirit to give them a heart for You, one that seeks You and wants to live for You the rest of their life. Prayer Request : I have lot myself recently, 22 female, I feel like I am no longer myself, the loving , caring, optimistic woman. I started changing in August of 2023 and not the way I wanted to. I became careless, angry, resentful, after so much self control over the years I let it go and caved. I lost the tools I wanted to use and did whatever I wanted even if others were hurt. I know God is here, I have been chasing him but here recently I do not feel his arms wrapped around me in protection. I am in a 12 year battle with my mother in law. She has stabbed me in the back more times than I can count. I pray and pray to forgive her but I just can’t get past the hurt and betrayal from my husband. I don’t understand why he would allow her to belittle me and my daughter (from another marriage) I have completely disconnected her from my life because I was becoming someone I did not like, someone I didn’t recognize in the mirror. She claims she’s a Christian, everyone believes she did nothing wrong and I’m the bad guy. How in the world can I let this go? What can I pray for? So many churches didn't take a stand against govt mandates...or support people that lost their jobs or people who lost their jobs. Life church videos were great to support people thru the rough times though
I disagree that you have to be up close to somebody that has offended you so you can forgive them. I don't believe that you need to be close to them physically close to them so you can forgive them. They might not be healthy for you to be around. They could be very manipulative and very hurtful and very dangerous for you to be around them, so it's not healthy for you to be around them in order to forgive them. I don't believe that you need to be around them in order to forgive them. What if they're dead? What if they're no longer here. Does that mean you don't have to forgive them? Because you're not up close to them? I just don't think that it's healthy for some people to be around their offender, because of how they offended them and how dangerous this person might be. And you can be compassion on them from a distance as well. Like you can do things for them without having to be around them. You can have a show of love for them from a distance. So I disagree with you on that point. The church is good about talking about that we shouldn't be angry and that we need to let it go, but they NEVER tell you how to let it go. They NEVER teach you how to surrender it to God. How do you do that? For once, will someone tell me how to let it go. How to truly surrender it to God and leave it behind. Just once, will someone stop giving me these Sunday school answers that don't work and tell me how to let it go, for good and heal? Please!

I listened to that twice and going to listen again. It started to soften my hardened heart. Anger Welled up both times which makes me know Satan has a deep root in me, but I needed to hear this. I’m dealing with anger due to someone lying on me and it got me in trouble unfairly. I felt the anger rise up in me this morning when I thought about it.
Please pray for my fiance. He has a bad anger and cussing problem, and just cussed out neighbor out in front of his little girl. He used to be a strong bible believing street preacher, and now he's backsliding. I don't think I can marry him if he doesn't change and he's hindering my walk with the Lord. He's been a Christian since he was 21, now he's 56. I'm 55 and came to Christ almost 7 years ago. Please I need some prayer warriors!

I would put everything that I want your guys' help on praying for but I don't really feel like going into detail so I'll just say this: I've been dealing with some pain and anger for 2 years now. I have an old friend that I dropped 2 years ago and I've been noticing for a while now that everytime he's mentioned or I'm reminded of him, I feel the need to almost grind my teeth, clench my fists, and I can feel my blood start to boil. I've been trying to forgive him from a distance, the reason why I don't try and reconcile with him is bc he is someone who lies a lot and loves to manipulate the truth for his own gain and benefit, and I feel like if I were to try and settle things with him in person, he'd just try to give me some full of crap excuse to explain himself and I don't wanna deal with that. And this anger for him intrudes on my friendships with other people who are more forgiving than me. I used to be more forgiving, myself, until my trust was broken again and again. Please pray that God helps me find some way to forgive this guy, I hate living with this anger for him but I always find myself ranting everytime I hear his name. I also need a prayer to help me trust God a lot more in my love life. I won't go into detail but there's this girl I have a bit of history with and I've come to love her so much. The problem is she hasn't been in my life for awhile but I'm still praying to God, hoping with every essence of my being that he'll eventually guide her back into my life. I keep praying for this with a lot of faith but find myself struggling with fully trusting in God's plan for me. Please pray for me, I don't like asking for a lot in other people but at this point, I just want some progress in this situation. I really don't mind waiting on God but that's where my fears, worries, and discouragement hit me the most
Hey man every time you get reminded of this guy and you get angry ask yourself what is the point of getting angry and ranting because at the end of the day that won’t help you and ask yourself what will your life look like once your free of this anger. Just forgive him and move on, holding grudges will never help you and keep on praying and trusting in God to deliver you from this anger.

It's counter intuitive...and it's Biblical. Pray for the guy. Especially when you are riled up. And pray that the girl gets the man God has made for her. Then, may God help you become the man she (or your intended spouse) needs. Bless you and let the Holy Spirit search you.
One thing I’ve noticed about my anger is the patterns that develop before an outburst. In the moment it feels like the outburst came out of nowhere. But when I reflect and unpack, I see there were unhealthy thought patterns that led up to the outburst. Paul tells us to take every thought captive and for good reason. Little seeds planted in our minds will lead to a harvest. Let us, as God’s people, allow the good seeds to be laid in the groundwork of our minds so we can harvest a garden full of righteousness and glory! (Scripture references 2 Corinthians 10:5; Romans 12:2)

I need prayer on a few things. I have trouble fully trusting God. There is this girl in my life, she is amazing! She is beautiful, funny, caring, kind, and loving. She is not perfect, she is a flawed human like the rest of us. I love this girl more than anything in the world, but I have a hard time trusting God that He will either make things work out and allow us to be together and get married, or that He has a better plan for me than her. I have a hard time trusting God’s will for me. I think He had forgotten about me, I think He doesn’t love me enough. But I know those are lies. Pray that I learn to trust God, in the hardest area to trust Him in.
I am that guy, i am always right. When he was saying he has a friend like that I thought maybe he knew me. Because that is so me. I have a very hard time accepting my own ignorance in some areas, and I think I am always right. I need prayer to be humble and see other’s ways are sometimes better or even right while mine is wrong.
Please pray for my grandsons (3) and my son to reunite them. Please pray for me to let go of bitterness and not letting people get me angry. Thank you.

Dear Heavenly Father we lift up in prayer, @lindamorton7573, and myself; Lord Jesus, They are tired of the sin struggle in their life. they feel distant from You. Their choices have not led them into the right places. they’ve listened to the whispers of their enemy instead of Your words in Scripture, and the result has been disastrous. they once walked with you, their heart tender to Your leading. Yet little by little, they exchanged Your truths for temptations and deceit that led them away from You. Instead of taking thoughts captive and confessing them immediately, they allowed them to grow totally out of control. Repentance was not in their vocabulary. Blame, cover-ups, or trying to reason and rationalize sin never work. They only give birth to deeper sin entanglements. You created them in Your own image, Lord. You know their thoughts before they speak them. You x-ray their heart and see through their excuses and intentions. Your Spirit warned them, but they ignored You. Disappointment and discouragement have taken their toll on them. So today they are confessing their desperate need for You. You have promised that if we will confess our sin, You will forgive us and make us clean again. Lord, they truly need Your forgiveness. Repentance is on their heart and lips. they want to turn around and head another direction-back to You, Lord. But they need Your help. Just as You created the world out of nothing, Lord, create a clean heart out of their “nothingness.” You paid for their sin with your own death. Restore their life and the fellowship we once shared together. You don’t condemn them, and You won’t disown them; they are Your children forever. But they take all the blame-they own their own sin. they are the one who broke fellowship with You and am crushed over the way they treated You and Your name. Lord, root out the darkness and light up their life with Your holy presence. Help them understand what went wrong. Show them how their destructive patterns first began. What did they allow to become more important than loving and honoring You? Why did they seek satisfaction in others or other things than You? You are the only One Who provides all their needs. You fill up the soul with deep down joy and peace beyond all understanding. Lord, may your restoration include new boundaries around their life. they can’t flirt with sin and not be hurt. In restoring them, teach them how to say no again to things which could harm themself or their testimony. If their actions have wounded others, show them where and to whom they need to ask forgiveness or how to make amends. Help them to surround themself with positive encouragers who will hold them accountable and who will speak the truth in love. Truly, shame melts away and we are healed when we confess to others and ask for their help. they understand that their repentance won’t eliminate the consequences of their sin. Knowing that You don’t hold our sins to our account-You remember them no more--and that You place them as far as the east is from the west both humbles them and fills them with amazement and gratitude. No consequence could ever be as painful as knowing how their sin hurt You or how You suffered for them out of love. Your crucifying death gave them eternal life with You. Lord, You place grace next to their regrets and give them hope for a new future. Thank You, Lord, that sin does not disqualify us. Instead, like a runner who has fallen but who gets up again, they, too, are willing to start again and finish the race You have set for them. With Your restoration, Lord, perhaps they can help others find their way back to You again. they will not give their enemy the victory. Instead, they will accept Yours. Instead of a meltdown, with Your help they will allow Your Spirit to give them a heart for You, one that seeks You and wants to live for You the rest of their life. Thank You, Jesus, for Your sweet forgiveness and promised restoration. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

I simply cannot continue being this way it is so self destructive.
You are not alone. Lord Jesus, please guide Lucas and transform him into a new creation in you. Please help him to realize the power of forgiveness -- Yours for his past sins and mistakes, and then help him to forgive himself as you have forgiven and removed all that from him. Help him to be able to move forward from today on, feeling less burdened. less bitter, less frustrated with himself and others. We ask for your softening of his heart, and for restored relationships with all those he loves. Walk with him every step of the way, as he continues to surrender to you, and learns to humble himself and live in your grace. Amen.

Prayer Request : I have lot myself recently, 22 female, I feel like I am no longer myself, the loving , caring, optimistic woman. I started changing in August of 2023 and not the way I wanted to. I became careless, angry, resentful, after so much self control over the years I let it go and caved. I lost the tools I wanted to use and did whatever I wanted even if others were hurt. Pray for me. I’m dealing with a lot of hurt and anger after divorce towards my ex-husband after 23 years of marriage. I am in a 12 year battle with my mother in law. She has stabbed me in the back more times than I can count. I pray and pray to forgive her but I just can’t get past the hurt and betrayal from my husband. I don’t understand why he would allow her to belittle me and my daughter (from another marriage) I have completely disconnected her from my life because I was becoming someone I did not like, someone I didn’t recognize in the mirror. She claims she’s a Christian, everyone believes she did nothing wrong and I’m the bad guy. How in the world can I let this go? What can I pray for? How can I let God in my heart and get rid of this poison she’s given me??

How come pastor never says amen at the end of his prayers?
I disagree that you have to be up close to somebody that has offended you so you can forgive them. I don't believe that you need to be close to them physically close to them so you can forgive them. They might not be healthy for you to be around. They could be very manipulative and very hurtful and very dangerous for you to be around them, so it's not healthy for you to be around them in order to forgive them. I don't believe that you need to be around them in order to forgive them. What if they're dead? What if they're no longer here. Does that mean you don't have to forgive them? Because you're not up close to them? I just don't think that it's healthy for some people to be around their offender, because of how they offended them and how dangerous this person might be. And you can be compassion on them from a distance as well. Like you can do things for them without having to be around them. You can have a show of love for them from a distance. So I disagree with you on that point.
The church is good about talking about that we shouldn't be angry and that we need to let it go, but they NEVER tell you how to let it go. They NEVER teach you how to surrender it to God. How do you do that? For once, will someone tell me how to let it go. How to truly surrender it to God and leave it behind. Just once, will someone stop giving me these Sunday school answers that don't work and tell me how to let it go, for good and heal? Please!

There’s such a thing as righteous anger. I think it’s fine to be angry at the injustices of the world, because that means our hearts are working. When you’re angry at injustice it means you care about people.
