I've made hot holders but never thought about making a larger one to set my pans on. What a great idea!! Thanks for sharing.

I got tired of silly little hot pads. I made myself a big one 4 years ago. Then I made them for family members.

Love this tutorial! I’m new to quilting so this will be a good project for me to start with. Now I’m off to purchase some mini charm packs! ❤️

As a beginner, it would be nice to see you actually sew what you're telling me to do.

Hello Nichole, I love your content, thank you for posting your passion!!! What is the name of the quilt design behind you in this video? Will it be a future feature?

Hi Julia, thank you so much! The quilt pattern is Brightly by Cluck Cluck Sew. I do have a video for the pattern. It’s called Recent Makes: Brightly. Enjoy!

@@fullbloomfibers I love your version of the pattern on the back wall. Beautiful. I’m smack dab in the middle of making my own Brightly quilt with metallic Christmas fabric and Kona Snow background. It’s going to be hard to let this one go because it’s so much prettier than I envisioned. I am definitely going to make the patchwork “joypads” here. I’ve been making some quilted scrappy bags and I really want to make some that look similar to this too. Love these. ♥️♥️♥️ Thank you for sharing your talents. Glad I found you.

I am just beginning to quilt after many years. I could see quilt lines on the project you made. I probably need more specific instructions.

    Is a mini charm 2.5 " by 2.5" ?

I don't see how simply sewing the binding on the diagonal would work. You have to put the ends one crossed over the end of the other and THEN sew a diagonal.

Same as the other charm packs 42. I think it’s adorable, a mini version of the larger packs!! I think it’s a really neat idea!!
