Is the PB blaster necessary because I can’t get the lock ring off my whole shock body just rotates when I try to take the collar off. Also have the res version and there is very limited space?
    Help needed!

Could you rebuild the set up with 700lb springs for added weight, or would that be overkill? Thinking of pulling the trigger on these for my 2014 tacoma

Was it set at zero lift or stock height when you started. Thinking about getting those red beauties on my 2017 Tacoma.

mike schoolcraft I was set at 3 inches without the weight. I only need to go up half of an inch that's why it was adjusted only a 1/4 inch in the coil over which equals 1/2 inch of lift

Hugo Huerta I was asking if they are set at stock height? What is the height now, compared to stock. It looks like an inch of lift over a stock Tacoma.

mike schoolcraft yes they're set at 2.5 - 3 inches out of the box. We always recommend to measure from the center of the wheel hub to the bottom of the fender before you install them and then after install and you might have to do some minor adjustments to get the full 3 inches. Also keep in mind that 3rd gen Tacomas come pre lifted from factory with 1 inch so your magic number on the front needs to be 23 inches after install
