Firstly, a huge thank you Ricky for making this series. I just got my first 3D printer, a Creality CR-M4, and having found out how slow it was, quickly added the Sonic Pad and your videos were literally the only way I was ever going to be able to get printing again, and with beautiful results. You are a hero!
I wanted to add a new Webcam to the list - Depstech 4K AF UHD Webcam - inexpensive and works great.
I have watched all of your Sonic Pad series and the only one that I had any problem getting things to work was this one on Timelapse. I followed it word for word, and every time the Sonic Pad tried to take a frame I got a red error message on my Sonic Pad web console. It took a bit of figuring out, and I don't know if this is new to the Cura 5.4 beta which I'm using, but I removed the Insert at Layer Change script that you recommended from the Post Processing Scripts and added the Time Lapse option, which works fine. I did also have to select Start Position Per Layer for the Recording Position under the Camera settings on the Sonic Pad, to stop the head from moving to a weird location for the photo, and now it's working perfectly.
Finally, one question, if I may; is anyone aware of a way to get multiple webcams attached to the Sonic Pad working? I have two webcams attached, both of which work fine individually, but when I open the camera settings it shows two cameras, but they are both showing the same feed from one of the cameras, not both. The same goes for the web console. I can add both cameras and name them individually, but the feed only comes from one camera. I read something about changing the port number for the cameras, but cannot figure out how to do it. If anyone has any information, please reply and let me know.
Thanks again for all that you do Ricky!

Ever since receiving my Ender 3 S1 pro in September 2022, I have thoroughly enjoyed your video tutorials. Now after receiving my Sonic pad this week I am enjoying these video tutorials. I did have to find another video for the advanced pressure and other items until your next level series is uploaded but I'll come back for those when they are.
    Thank you.

I highly recommend the sonic pad. Took me a while to pull the trigger on it but when I did, I'm not sure how I managed without it. Well worth the investment. Makes leveling the bed so much easier, you have so much more control, and after doing some research, I can start a print via internet, I have it linked to my slicer program to be able to send the print straight to the printer. I hope this helps. Happy printing.

Thanks, Ricky, for the great job with those tutorials for SonicPad! From my own experience, I can add that SonicPad also works well with the Creality Nebula Camera. An additional advantage of the Nebula Camera is that it has a night mode. The only issue I'm facing is connecting two cameras simultaneously. I still have a Logitech webcam, which also works. However, when I connect them both at the same time, it recognizes two cameras, but in both cases, it only displays the image from one.

Hi, You would just need to enter x and y coordinates that would identify the center bed position. To do this, just halve your bed dimensions. For instance, if I had a 200x200mm bed, I would use x - 100 y - 100. You can play with these to give you the effect you would like.

I purchased the Beagle Minton Camera, then I purchased the Sonic Pad. I am about to set the SonicPad up. Is there a way to still use the Beagle as a completely separate device as a camera while I still have my SonicPad Setup and working everything besides camera use? I just am trying to get use of the funds that I have spent on the two. I use an Ender 3 S1 Pro.

You can have the Beagle pointing at the printer and just use it to watch what is going on but you can't connect the Beagle and Sonic Pad together (as far as I know) unfortunately.

Hi, Ricky. Great help with videos. Got my sonic pad up and running no probs. I have my camera running Timelapse but is there a way to control the zoom and focus? My camera is a Logitech C922.

Okay, I just connected my camera to my sonic pad. For some reason, when it's suppose to stop and move away, instead, it sits and spits out filament which blobs and causes the extruder to hit the print. I'm not sure why. I didn't change anything more than what was told on the video. Any ideas would be so helpful to this 3d printing newby.

tutorial was crystal clear, i tried to follow it to a "T" - but i get a "time-lapse error". i've gone back through and looked at all my settings but i cannot figure out why my C270 (same model as yours) is throwing this error? I have plenty of videos from printing with this camera - but for some reason when i try and park the head and take single snaps it give me an error. Where do i begin troubleshooting?

It seems that after switching from having the sonic pad control the timelapse to adding the TIMELAPSE_TAKE_FRAME function, I keep receiving an "error taking timelapse frame" error. When the printhead is parked, it causes a quick pause in the print that prevents the timelapse from rendering. I've noticed before that if I pause a print for a filament change or any other reason, the timelapse is canceled.

When I purchased the sonic pad I also, bought the creality camera. Not the one with the wifi box. After setting my printers for use with sonic pad, I came back here to install the camera. Lights up, says connected, but no video. It's not among the listed cameras creality has on their website. Somehow I thought this would be the best choice. As usual their customer service e-mails can't answer whether or not their camera will plug into the sonic pad. Anyone else used the crcc-s7 creality camera with sonic pad and made it work?
