i quit hosting live streams on my channel years ago but i go live on DLT Lawncare LLC channel, we may do a live tomorrow at 6:30 EST, check out the Doc And Doby Show
I see you're a grass rat too. You and Taryl are the best because you explain and go step by step when doing repair or trouble shooting. As soon as I watched your first video I subscribed.
I wouldn't touch it, Tom. It is a work of art. I hope those are the only flames you see in there. Merry Christmas. Many people don't know that the new propane tanks shut off most of the gas flow if you open the valve on the tank too fast. People think their grills and generators are broken, but they just opened the valve too fast and activated the automatic safety inside the tank. It is so humid here in Louisiana, that when running a generator, you can see where the fuel line is inside the tank by watching where the outside of the tank is still wet. The bottom wet portion is still liquid propane inside. "That may be a problem there" For sure. My neighbor's filter was like that, and soaked with engine oil. If only all my fixes were that easy.
At least you have a huge shop. Mine is a 10X16 lofted barn. Along with all my tools, I share that space with a disassembled riding mower, 4 push mowers, a generator, and a pressure washer. I'm not complaining, but I have mowers coming out of my ears right now. I have some quality inventory for Spring though. I should have enough to expand my shop or buy a van and do some mobile work. We'll see.
Winterizing, ugh. I own 14 mowers right now. I'm stockpiling for Spring, but I haven't winterized any of them. I did run one completely out of gas, but I got a lot to do.
Nice job Tom, hey do they sell any other brand of walk behinds in Georgia? 🤣 Thanks for the shout out bud, glad you're getting use out of the gadgets. 🙂 And another carb cleaning video is like Christmas coming early once again. 🤣👍
I have had a couple of machines that had the wrong plug and the piston smashed it. The worst damage I have found is stripped threads in the spark plug tube from where it tried to push the plug out.
Hey Tom! Looks like one I picked up about a month ago for $50 with bag. Good work as always! In central New York its 14° now -4° tonight. Merry Christmas too you and mom!
wrong spark plug, I have seen that a few times. the last one I fixed up, they put in a chain saw plug (2 cycle) into a 190cc quantum. I ended up with a AutoLite equivalent to a RJ19LM which was best used one I had. it also needed a Carb rebuild/clean
Great video Tom. Love those old quantum’s. By the way, where did you get that nice blade grinder and what kind is it? I want one for my little shop. Good seeing you over at arch’s live stream earlier. Merry Christmas and God bless
With those flames, who needs a heater! LOL!!! Tom, the door Really Looks Cool!!!😎 The Shop looks like a NASCAR garage for mowers. Nicely Done!!!!
Surprised to see y'all on Arch's live. I didn't get to see it live had to watch the replay. Interesting all ya can do on restream/Streamyard.

From the day I bought a cordless ratchet, I rarely use a regular one any more. That is the most useful tool I have ever owned.
That mower is in really good shape for it's age. It doesn't look it has many hours on it.
I love Briggs carbs. Metal or plastic, they always seem to come around. I rarely have to replace one.
Nice work on the mower and excellent job on the flames. Merry Christmas my friend and a Happy New Year 🎈🎊 🎅🏻🎄

Morning, Tommy time lost volume today? But I can count on You 😊
Love that new door paint job. Really brightens up the garage. Did you get some new glasses? You and Ma have a Merry Christmas.
It’s 63 in West Texas 😊😊😊
You have to put a ton of gas in those old Briggs auto choke engines that you do in the newer ones or the purge engines.
If sonic cleaner doesn’t work it goes in the old acid dip, that’s a winner 😊
It sure was another carburetor cleanin' video, yaayyyy! Maybe I should start layin' off the carbs too. Not so sure yet hahaha!

He might have dropped the plug, but didn't realize that the gap was closed.

Great job Tom 👍👍👍
Just talked to my family in Powder Springs about 2 hours ago, they said it's 30 degrees there. Merry Christmas Tom.

Lol. I can tell you're from the South. That's what we do. When it doubt, flame it out. Everything looks better with flames on it.
love your videos tom
What’s the blue knob on the rear discharge ?
mulch to bag
You can run an RC12YC in a Honda, but not in a Briggs. Even a novice should be able to tell the visual difference in the size of the plugs.
