Most unassuming butt whooping I ever got stumbling onto this guy at NG+2. Thought he was like another 'Lamenter' boss. Relatively easy but with a gimmick...his gimmick was lightning fast combos and near immediate frostbite and incredibly high damage 😅

A friendly reminder that both Demi-Humans and Imps are actually humongous, they only look small because they crouch and the camera looks down at them. If I saw Onze stood in front of me I wouldn't think Yoda, I'd think giant crack chimp escaped from the Detroit zoo
@@lileggyolke I'm assuming Onze's block is special somehow. So, he can block basically anything and simply stops the attack, I guess? I'm pretty sure if I tried that even with a greatshield I'd get guard broken pretty quickly.

I just wanted to understand why Istvan has such low damage, Jerren has higher damage and the bleeding he gives on the flamberg is monstrous, at least the war ash helps to break the stance. Hes been giving the scadutree level 20 to base game bosses in a lot of videos of boss vs boss, it definitely makes the fights more even. So I've also been wanting to see it for npcs.
Just shows the silliness of RPG mechanics. Onze gets repeatedly pounded by Tragoth's giant hammer but because he's got the DLC scaling and Tragoth is from the midgame it does very little damage.
Feel like it'd be interesting to see this with equivalent scaling. Like try to bump Onze's health/damage down to a similar level to the NPCs he's fighting and see who wins off of skill/technique.
Would love to see this with all of them having 20 scadutree blessing levels of power. With even scaling, I Imagine most of the NPC's would win that lost here.
Sorcerers get wrecked by Onze because if you hit him with a spell, he’ll activate his teleport. He’s easy to stagger and combo as well, but this version of him (boss) will break out of combos with the teleport as well.
The first time i entered Onze's arena, he teleported behind me and 2 shoted me, I wasn't even able to see what killed me. It's only the second time I noticed it was a demi-human xD Loved the fight, it was so cinematic and cool. I just wished he had more poise and hyper armor because it's way too easy to stunlock him with a heavy weapon :/
We were literally robbed with his sword. The thing requires as much Int stat investment as moon veil yet still scale D. No frost. It has one of the lowest guard out of all katana yet Onze and Yosh are guarding 24/7 with it, which makes me believed guard counters would have been a huge part of this sword playstyles but no. I also want the multi frost slash Onze do after several counters, like charging the weapon, maybe too much but Euporia has a charging system it self even if it completely different. I thought this Katana would be a weapon of skills and mastery, It's not, you can actually master the AoW for roll catching and It has a true combo I don't remember what it was that's all about it . I maybe wrong in certain point but we all know this weapon has issues and incoherence like a lot of weapons in the DLC.
There is a lot I would've done with the star lined sword like having a bigger quest for boc since he has relatively the same build as onze so I wish we couldv given him the blade and we could've taught him the ways of it or something and then later we get an item that allows to summon boc when he has relatively the same skills as onze himself
I doubt he'd survive long against the DLC main bosses, but I'm genuinely curious how far he'd get taking on the base game bosses. I've been hoping for a video like that for a while now.

Onze is honestly one of my favorite bosses in the DLC. I love that little guy and I was filled with so much glee the first time I fought him
I saw a demihunan expecting nothing more and stunlocked him to death. I regret it.
Was an epic battle when I first fought him doing the dlc on ng+7. Got a soft spot for this boss and the two Death Knights.
Onze looked like a House Elf from Harry Potter who decided to be a swordsman to rise up against the Wizardry Society.

can you do the strongest base game npcs (Bernahl, Vyke, Nepheli etc.) vs. SOTE Npcs? Maybe give them the level 20 scadutree buff?
