@@franzk9376 I have had more cats than I can remember and I never had any cat like this. Cats are not fully domasticated, so their behaviour depends on the environment they lived in as kittens. There was a day that the drunk dude came back from somewhere, we heard the cat attacking him again, and after that a gunshot was heard, we called the police, and they found the cat dead on his bedroom with a gunshot wound.
I imagine the other kittys in the waiting room hearing her would be similar to us at the dentist hearing someone yelled with the whizzing sound of the dentist's apparel XD
It can be stressful. But I've also had to handle fractious cats like this one in the video at my old vet clinic job. I also used leather gloves and a thick towel/blanket to handle them, and it wasn't too bad. Eventually you get used to it.

I've got one who goes bonkers at the vet and Ive taken him to 4 different ones to no avail. We've tried sedatives, both before and during visits but sedatives have no affect on him when he's angry. His adrenaline fights it. He's also tall/huge, almost 18lb. They have to zip him up in a bag or completely anesthetize him to do anything.
Yeah. Where I work (a vet clinic) we have a clinic cat that we have to lock away anytime a cat is in. Because if it starts screaming and hissing he goes nuts and than it's game over.
My neighbor and I saw a cat get terribly attacked by a pack of dogs. We chased the dogs away, but the injured cat wouldn't let us near her, until my neighbor threw a blanket over her. She went limp and quiet. We were able to get her to the vet and she survived.
Talk to your vet about sedatives, mix it with their food about an hour before the appointment. let it kick in helped with my cats. but each cat made need it accordingly like my one cat. needs maybe 2 than my other cat. so you gotta find out how your cat reacts to it first.
Ok firstly I believe the owner should be assisting the veterinarian and his assistant. LMAO HAHA
this is what people who didn't have cats imagine all cats are.
Yes...me no like cats
Most cats are like this. All my cat-keeping friends get scratched and bitten regularly.
Yep me
@@franzk9376 I have had more cats than I can remember and I never had any cat like this. Cats are not fully domasticated, so their behaviour depends on the environment they lived in as kittens. I raised a baby cat since her birth and she lived with me her entire life and ended up being as lovely as a puppy. she would come if I called her, she would always follow even when she wasn't a baby anymore. it really depends on how they live, not all cats are violent, no way.
My cat scratches and bites me regularly. She's a bitch but she is my cat and I love her. Also she's a bitch.
It's wrong to call a very frightened and stressed animal "psycho". My vet prescribes a calming medication and my cat arrives at the vet sleepy and not stressed. This vet should do the same.
I use to work at a vet cleaning kennels and was attacked more then once by cats. I had a feral cat I took in and it attacked me so bad I still have scars. Nothing worse then getting bitten and scratched by a cat.
Cat's probably like "I want my lawyer! I have riiiights!"
Yes she has the right, but they will give those rights later.
The cat is a feminist.

In my opinion, all you need is a string for the cat to play with, I did the math!
😾+🧶=😸
Kitty was having none of that.
Its so difficult to even see this - I can't imagine how horrific it would feel if I were a cat (who doesn't even know that it's for my own good)

@@jamall7003 what are you on about
You're fucking supposed to help calm the animal down, it's "yours".
it is not the cat, in my opinion the vet assistance is Dummy, she's afraid and that makes the animal suffer even more. Also cats r extremely difficult to hold...
I like how he just ignores the second vet tho he is the one poking him
Probably because the girl is putting a blanket over the cat and in the beginning she grabbed his fur.
@@kingquanforeal4632 she grabbed is scruff so it shouldn't have been painful. Plus it looked like he had already started being aggressive before the recording.
@@kingquanforeal4632 cats have that extra fur so when they are little and can’t walk their mother can carry them by it
She was the closest
:3
I hate when people call these videos ‘psycho cat’. The cat is not psychotic, he’s scared. He’s probably been to this vet before and sees the clinic as a bad place where people do things to him that hurt and are not fun.

You mean to a priest..
I know a guy that had a cat like this one, unfortunately the guy was in drugs and all that bs, and the cat used to be angry and fight with him.

What about a Russian Brown bear armed with a Kalashnikov standing over your bed whispering "shush... it will be over quickly" as you wake up in the middle of the night?

I've got one who goes bonkers at the vet and Ive taken him to 4 different ones to no avail. We've tried sedatives, both before and during visits but sedatives have no affect on him when he's angry. His adrenaline fights it. He's also tall/huge, almost 18lb. They have to zip him up in a bag or completely anesthetize him to do anything.

Yeah. Where I work (a vet clinic) we have a clinic cat that we have to lock away anytime a cat is in. Because if it starts screaming and hissing he goes nuts and than it's game over.

Very brave assistant. She needs a pay raise.

My cat tries to hide but the vet is right there. Shes too scared to fight back but certainly doesn't like being there.

Not only is she not assisting she’s doing the 2020’s ultimate act of not helping but filming it instead. Hard to believe others aren’t pointing this out in this comments section.
Some vets won't let the owners help.
