    Sure I can relate to your "oh my expression"! My first attempt at a two-layer ice cream cake w/ homemade pipped whip cream I had my head in the freezer decorating it. I used cream of tartar to stable the whipped cream after experimenting w/ other methods. Learn from my experience it's best to have your choice stabilizing method perfected before attempting an ambitious new recipe. But the cake was beautiful and the family really enjoyed it. @@Joselyn112492 I made it couple different ways the first times. I used the recipe right away the first time . And had a bit left over. So I put the leftover in a ziplock bag in the freezer to see how it would freeze. It thawed nicely and used the remaining a week later on some cupcakes. Still tasted great. Then the other time I made the recipe I made it for my son’s graduation cake a day in advance and covered it in a glass bowl and kept in the fridge until I was ready to use. I hope that helps.

    • @AsiaCoffee
      @AsiaCoffee  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You can certainly just add powdered sugar to your whipped cream to stabilize it to be used as frosting. Continue to do that if it’s working for you! Yes, mixing in fresh strawberries WILL impact the texture of your icing. Doing so will make is difficult to pipe. I would use the fresh strawberries as standalone decoration instead of mixing it into the icing. Best of luck!

If I were to guess at making this chocolate flavored, I would melt down real chocolate and allow it to cool to below room temperature (but not harden) before mixing it in as a final step. *_If anyone else is reading this and has made chocolate whipped cream frosting before, would you please share your experience?_* Thanks for watching!
