I love everything about this device, especially the screen size, 6.85 inches, the bezelless display, underscreen camera, and that starry night variant, in particular!
Samsung was waaaay ahead of times back in 2018 when they shoved in variable aperture in their S9 lineup. I think more manufacturers should move towards that feature, including Samsung. Im in love with those lens flares when its at higher F stops. Very similar to the James Webb Space Telescope. Also makes the overall image much sharper.
miss the days back when phone engineers were adventurous and tried crazy concepts. I still own and use my 5 years old Oppo Reno 10x. No camera bump on the backside, but it still takes perfect shots with its 5x periscope lens. The highlight, though, is the hole-free front display with the flip selfie camera. This is what phone engineers should be thinking about-out of the box.
@@watson1212 Only benefit is that you can do 3D Face unlock so you won't get blinded at night Hopefully one day Nubia can figure out a way to make a 3D sensor under the display as well, would be sick!
for those who have it, just use 70mm & 350mm instead of 85 or 140mm if you want details in your shots. also Gcams or mcpro 24fps app will help in your shots quality , so use them . nubia also make fans called ice magic which is perfect for gaming & overall feeling while doing intensive workload on your phone
Not having an headphone jack on this is such miss IMO... They would done real damage in smartphone market (especially with Asus Zenfone being lazy about their phone cameras)
The problem with this phone is selling later. If you buy an iphone for 800, you can sell 1 year later for 500-550, but this you will be lucky if you can find $400.
By that logic you will wall yourself from taking something you really like only because "can't resell" (when i get a phone especially if flagship i hope to keep it as long as possible)
Why don't companies use one lens with a variety of diameters instead of making several lenses take up a lot of useless space? They can combine them and get a larger sensor and better results.
Im so tired of phones being so big! Why wont they make the same device in a smaller package? I dont want to pull a tablet out of my pocket each time...
i think because of udc, it will be challenging for algorithm to keep up with visibility while calculating refresh hertz for pixels above the selfie. for me personally, as long as it's 1 or one and half day battery, i don't care that much for ltpo as it's main advantage was to save battery.
the bezel difference isn’t so big tbh the 16 pro have smaller bezels so it’s from the future as well? plus how the hell is this the highest resolution display in the market rn when a phone like XS from 6 years ago had a better resolution display than this
If you have eyes you see the Nubia has smaller bezels and the Xs has a higher pixel density but thats because it has a smaller display. The nubia has a higher resolution overall
Also the bezels aren’t impressive on the nubia, it has the same screen to body ratio as iPhone 15 pro max which is from last year, compared to the 16 pro max it not even close, about 3%
@@SpongebobSquarepants-ug8te forgot to tell you that the screen to body ration is the same as 15 pro max and the 16 pro max has much smaller bezels, ppi density is better on iPhone this and last year too, maybe you should learn something before you speak?
only problem i have with these less popular brands is the OS.. alot of apps don't function as intended and the battery management is just awful.. the phone is pretty much turned OFF if you're not actively using the phone that was my experience with Nubia Z50 and Xiaomi 11T Pro
thats just how its gonna be due to the under display camera, the camera needs to have a clean opening to take light in from, since there's a layer of a screen above the camera module it'll be blurry alway
Wow can't believe Samsung still sucks with under screen camera while small brands like Nubia has come miles ahead. This shows they have been sleeping since last 5 years.
