Wow, if I went into a Tony and Guy salon I would NOT expect this. I would be shocked or I would assume they were a scam tony and Guy. (Thank you, thank you for the new episodes!!!)
Quite the opposite, I think. Gordon usually storms in, insults the cooks and the owners, is overtly angry and upset at the people, and is quite harsh in his approach. The production team also over books the restaurant, and places strain and stress on these people with the sole purpose of having them fail (seriously, I've never seen an episode where the kitchen team don't absolutely crumble under the pressure). His show is strictly entertainment because they love the drama (compare rhe UK to the USA versions of Kitchen Nightmare, and you'll see a massive difference). Tabatha, on the other hand, is generally assertive but gentle. She doesn't belittle or insult, she doesn't scream or swear at them, and she doesn't storm in mid-service and shut them down - all things Gordon does. Honestly, I think this show is what reality TV should be. Of course this show has some dramatisation, and I know there are probably some parts edited for entertainment purposes, but overall this show is genuinely helpful to the guests. I totally know what you mean, but I think we need to give Tabatha way more credit! If anything, Gordon should aspire to be this helpful to the people on his show! After all, Gordon's closure rate within 3 years is 80%, however, in every episode I've seen so far, each salon was still open after 3 years!! Go Tabatha!

That's so wrong. You employ her knowing Melissa's level of skill, don't implement ongoing training and then fire her for not having the skills. The show does after her, yet the "birthday girl" doesn't get a look see at her own skills or truly reprimanded for her behaviour on the salon floor.
"I don't clean in my birthday", so don't have your birthday in a business day sweety. If it's a working day, I'm sorry, nobody cares if it's your birthday or not.
Business is business, family is family. If you cannot figure out how to work with family members (which can be really hard sometimes) then you have to let them go.

Same here! In Switzerland you spend at least 3 years to be a women’s hairdresser and another year to get the license as a men’s hairdresser. It’s an official apprenticeship.
I'm a hairdresser for 11 years now and I just can't listen to them advertising Tony & Guy, I don't know how their work looks like in the US,but in the UK and in Malta where they have T&G I spent 50% of my time fixing the disaster what they are cutting and colouring. One of my clients office is right opposite T&G so the whole office has a game when they are looking at people who are walking out of that salon,she said they have a good laugh every time. Please don't be like T&G 😊 What I can definitely say,is that T&G did a great job.....but not with hair 😄 with advertising themselves(this is my first episode of this show, I wouldn't be surprised if TG is a show's sponsor, investing money build on lies and clients tears)),so there is still people,who believe that they can actually make a decent work with hair.
So many women and they can't keep their house clean!!! I'm not better than them, I have MS, and I can't keep my house clean as much as I want it to be.... And this is so frustrating

She isn't like Gordon Ramsay at all she doesn't shout at anyone and the places she visit actually succeed afterwards meanwhile most of the restaurants on Gordon's show shut down a few months later
