First: Great hair day! Second burmanica is such a lovely little hoya. The leafs look like the heads of birds with long beaks to me. I am really considering getting this one.
I watched this video about a week or two after it was first posted. I normally watch your videos while I clean the house and/or water plants on the weekends. A week after watching the video, I saw a burmanica in a Hoya purge group and I bought it. I received it in the mail and instantly loved the leaves and saw I had a peduncle. It is now one of my favorite hoyas and the blooms have lasted about a week and no sign of stopping. I’ve also bought a Patricia, which I bought after I saw the video where you recommended it. And now I finally have found a lockii, which will be shipped this week. Thank you for all your suggestions!! Your recommendations are the BEST!
My best blooming hoya by far is hoya lobbii , blooming its heart out since december . The blooms on hoya pandurata is a work in progress, still waiting on the🌺... but the most beautiful is definitely hoya burmanica....love the shape of the leaves💚
You make me laugh so much that I forget what you were talking about! I don't mind though, because your videos are worth re-watching! Thanks so much for sharing!
I just got a Hoya burmanica bc of you! Loved it when you highlighted it in a previous video. I agree, the structure of leaves do remind me of angel wing begonia. I am so excited to see it grow up to look just like yours🤪
I first watched this video about a month or so ago. Shortly thereafter, I saw a H. burmanica with a peduncle for sale on a local purge and I had to get it after hearing you speak so highly about it on this video. I’ve had it for a couple weeks and it is definitely one of my favorites. Great suggestion!!
Oh I love baking cakes and macarons! And after watching your videos, I want Hoyas! I am waiting to see if my current 3 Hoyas last a few months first before expanding my collection.
I’ve been stalking this plant on your channel since you showed it, I need it! every time I think I don’t need a Hoya you somehow manage to show me I’m wrong 😂
Thanks for doing this very informative video! Interestingly I've two different Hoyas that are sold to me as Hoya burmanica. One looks and flowers like yours and other I've no idea what it is. The other one is not a pandurata as I also have the pandurata. It's a mystery Hoya I guess!
I've recently started trying to pollinate my hoyas and now you have me wondering if the ones in pollinating are sterile 🤔 Any suggestions on where I can find information?
I watched last night and ever since you first showed your H. burmanica I have wanted one. Today I was listening to music while working and "The Baker" by The Aquabats came on and I thought of you baking your cake!
Unfortunately where I am (SEA!), it is incredibly difficult to obtain a specimen of H. burmanica... (while panduratas and polyneuras are all over the place) not sure why. Hope to add this to my collection.
Very beautiful 🤩 I want all the hoya. Sooo I have a sous vide and ran into a mealy issue a couple months back. Soooooo I did the soak in x said temp I set temp and as I was working I went back to your video about root mealy. Too late I set it at 130f 😫
My Hoya burmanica showed up labeled as Hoya Burmanica / Polyneura complex, do you think it’s probably still just Hoya burmanica? I was thinking probably yes, kind of like with the sp Vietnam thing. The leaves on my one are a bit darker green though.
I like it! I want one! But it’s early days for me and I’m only just now getting a Callistophylla and Mathilde this week. Where can a Burmanica be found? I hope I don’t have to travel to Myanmar because .... whoa, that’s so far away Miro.
Imagine if I actually said to travel to Myanmar to get it? 😂 It would be a nice trip though! I got mine from Sweden :) I am not sure if you can order from them, but if you can, mine is from Camilla Sjoholm Gedin :)
Omg I was thinking you finished with word "erect" and I stop laughing, then I spit out coffee all over my poor dog at 20:03 🤣🤣🤣 Great video and plant is lovely ❤
I checked on the polyneura complex and burmanica and I dont think they are the same. Yours looks like a polyneura complex. The flower on the burmanica is slightly different and also the leaf shape isnt as pointy at the tip. The flower on burmanica is yellow and only the middle red. polyneura complex has the red flower on yellow corona like yours.
I just got my first hoya with a mail today my pubicalyx has a shriveled growth point its a bit black to be honest i can tell that her growth point is dead but the stem is healthy i am woried about her 😭😭😭😭
I was going to withstand buying burmanica, but with video numbers two, all of that has crumbled. Hoya burmanica for the people! (Me running for the (internet)store🏃🏻♀️)
The first 1,000 people to use the link or my code basieplants will get a 1 month free trial of Skillshare: skl.sh/basieplants04221

Yes it was an awesome journey. I laughed, I cried, I hugged a Hoya.

Is it just me or did you guys have serious "HAIR ENVY", too? Here for the hoyas but got obsessed with the hair. Damn, Miro. 😍🥰

It's true, I've seen a cake you made and it was very impressive. 😂 This was a great video, thank you for sharing burmanica with us. 😍
I’ve been stalking this plant on your channel since you showed it, I need it! every time I think I don’t need a Hoya you somehow manage to show me I’m wrong 😂
Had to pause the video to say, your hair is on point sir! 🥰🪴💚
I literally JUST received this Hoya in the mail 30 minutes ago! Doggone it I have to work, can’t wait to watch when I’m done.
Ooh Miro, your hair! Love it 😊
You and your Hoyas are fantastic!! You are
So very lovely and a wealth of knowledge with great great hair!! 🤗🤗🤗
Your videos are always full of SO much amazing information! Thank you for the amazing work
Very nice with all the blooms. My next one on my wish list at the moment is a Callistophylla. Love your hair. Thanks for the video. 💚🌱🪴🌿💚

You have convinced me to get this species.
I've recently started trying to pollinate my hoyas and now you have me wondering if the ones in pollinating are sterile 🤔 Any suggestions on where I can find information?
I’d also be interested to know :) I also do wonder how plants with sterile flowers reproduce in the wild 🤔
I really enjoy your content:) Your videos are super informative and entertaining 😉

Could you explain and show how you can tell what is a peduncle?
Definitely giving me the polyneura pendulous vibes. Do you think burmanica is a faster grower than polyneura?
Yay ! I just got the VN one. Look like the same plant.
So sweet hoya! One day, I hope so,coming to my collection
I think by the end of summer :)
Beautiful Hoya, thanks for the info 💚
I really like this Hoya, especially the leaves and growth pattern. Are the blooms fragrant? Thanks for sharing and happy growing.

I didn't see any link at around 9:00...
Gahh been wanting a burmanica based on your rec. but they are pricey in the US right now. Around $100
I have a bunch of Hoya. Not one has bloomed for me 🤷🏼♀️
