The Petzl Bindi is a great little ‘camp light’. I keep mine around my neck when I’m in my sleeping bag at night. If I need to get up to use the bathroom, I’m not looking for a flashlight. It’s great. The Petzl Swift is a great accompaniment to it. It’s good to have more than the one lamp too.
Indeed, that is a great idea. I finished a winter climb, pulled a muscle in my calf and couldn't put weight on it and my 6 year old plus Petzl Nao stopped working when I had no alternative. It was a very long 5 hours getting down sharing a torch. I still use that torch and it has worked again ever since but alwasy have a wee back up. Thanks for the comment James
@@alpine_sports cavers use the Olight Perun I believe. There is a holder in a head harness to take 2 x units. Mounted in an opposed position. They have both on when a lot of light is required but only one in other circumstances. They do use more substantial headlights too and even carry charging facilities , as they may be underground for several days. It is important to always have a good back up,or a charging power bank? Or both!
Hi Theoria Apophasis, ye we say it a lot here in Ireland, head torch or head lamp in Europe. What would you use the most? I could modify the title for you guys in the USA.. Nigel
