After the cape wrath trail I had a lot of people asking me about kit so I though I'd make a separate channel where we can nerd out on all the bits of kit I use for backpacking and bushcraft etc. Subscribe if that's your thing mate. Cheers
Have you tried the RovyVon E200S ??? Checkski outski, thank me later lol huge battery life, bright as AF and theres also a version with red / blue lightson or a 3rd 1 with uv light :) 82 Grams rechargeable usb It has 2 sets of lights with a clip, front leds & side leds the runtimes as follow: Front LED's 10 lumens - 24 hours 150 lumes - 8 hours 700 lumens 4 hours 1,650 lumens - 2.8 hours Side lights 5 lumens - 96 hours 300 lumens - 8 hours 800 lumens - 4 hours then you have the RBG version where the front leds are the coloured version and the sides are the whites but have a look mate :) compared to the 5 lumens - 50 hours 100 lumens - 3 hours 200 lumens 2 hours
Ooooh 😍😍… I’d like to say thank you.. but apparently, NOW I absolutely NEED to buy yet another flashlight 😜😜… need it like a fresh hole in my head… but I NEEEED it.. ATB my friend! Always lovely to see what you’re getting up to.. and anyone who loves camping and hiking, that says they don’t really care about gear, is LYING.. we all spend as much time messing around with our kit around the house as we do actually using it somewhere else 🤪
Thing that has bugged me about all my head torches is you need to cycle through the modes. So if I want my stealthier dim light I need to blast a 30,000 lumen strobe disco from an ACDC concert to get to it.
I'm still using a Petzll tikka after many many years. It's awesomely awesome.Red light and 3brightness levels. I use it for walking, campsite use.I've got hand torches of large lumen figures for other more regular use.
This video comes at the right time, as I am looking at upgrading from a Pelican headlamp. Your tip on the GoalZero lantern last year was spot on. I love mine.🤙
Had my original petzl for nearly 20 years now. Apart from a new headband it's been awesome. From camping to dog walking and working on my cars. Cheers for this review, think it's time to add a new one to the collection 😂
I've been looking at this torch Hazey. Just been waiting for a time to purchase. The lumin test has done it for me - as light as the torch itself. Mark
Fair play hazey lad. Only just got onto this channel, didn't even know about it until I saw a little side advert for it so the subscribe button was pressed mate. Loving your work brother, I reckon this will be a well helpful channel for us lot. 🤙🏼
Nice bit of kit, used petzl for years, although at minute I'm using a led lenser mh10, great headtorch, but for lightweight that looks a belter..atb Lee
Check out the petzl adaptor you can put your head torch into, turns it into a lantern, saves taking a tent lantern. Only £11 from amazon or go outdoors, does not work with all petzl lights.
This has come at an amazing time i lost my head lamp last weekend and am in the market for a new one. I think ill take the punt for £35 i also brought the lanshan pro2 and some new poles after watching your series on the Wrath trail just wanted say again thank you and please keep them comeing also id like links to your lock and latch page hahaha
Wow , thanks mate , just found them on line for £25 , that price makes my brain hurt - good quality for not many pounds 🤔 I have faith in your review though , sold !
I’ve had my Petzl Taktikka xp for years mate and never let me down! Only brand I’d go to for a ‘reliable’ torch personally 👍🏼 Are you going to be reviewing kit you already own on here then/bought with your own money or will it be stuff companies send you? Atb mate Ant

how long does a charge last? is the price comparable to other torches? does it have an "emergency" mode, where it flashes? (i'm not buying one, just questions that popped into my head; you're kind of new at the review game.) 5k subs for a channel with only one video.... You are Magic. Best wishes.
Ay up Hazey 😎 Have been looking forward to your first review on the new channel. Looks like a great bit of kit. Thanks for sharing. Ps. Nice new doo btw 👍
Why have I not picked up on the fact that you started a "Send me free shit" channel? Wishing you the best of luck. If any of you bush craft type bods deserve "free shit" its you. :)
Petzl designers/engineers really didn't think much about the purpose of the red light too much did they... (well i don't even see it as a feature on Amazon description so.. meh. anyway) if the feature/goal of red light is to preserve the night vision, I don't see why there isn't an option to access it from OFF. (Turning the light on and then accessing it sounds illogical).... They did a good job with the E+Lite (if they can find a way to make it rechargeable via USB or USB-C, they could've made a better product than this Bindi).
good luck with this new site looking forward to your content, as there will be no bullshit I use the THRUNITE BSS H01, it has firefly mode, which is 1/2 lumen with run time of 15 days, it gives me all I need inside my tent, writing reading, and cooking
You remind me alot of a channel called haze outdoors, hes like you but with longer hair, not sure if you're just trying to copy him or something else, but its uncanny mate, maybe you should colab with him? Might be good.
I'm not sure about this as it jumps from 6 lumens (lasting 50hours) to 100 lumens (lasting 3 hours). I recon another setting in the middle eg 20 lumens for 15 hours would be better. Also the Bindi appears to not have any waterproofing for the USB socket so I'd be concerned about using it in the wet. Looking around Decathelon do something similar for £15 with an adjustable brightness and a rubber cover for the USB socket so that looks better, that does 11 hours at 20 lumens as an example. Also the Nitecore NU25 has a 38 lumen setting at 8 hours so again more brightness settings. The Nitecore also does 190 lumens for 5 Hours vs the Bindi at 200lumens for 2 hours.
Great little torch mate and very versatile, just looked at them on amazon and I see you can buy a lantern case for it (only £12) not sure if you looked at that but seems a excellent add on for wild camping
Why not 'Daze Outdoors' ? But that's by the bye. Yes..Petzl are much more reliable torches than something like a vastly over-hyped oLight which are a bit rubbish if truth be told. I've had two dodgy Olights so far but when I was involved with an outdoor charity group, we had a sack full of old Petzl headtorches and they were 100% reliable,

Subscribed! My favorite person on TH-cam! I’m training for my first through hike right now. 77 miles on the Foothills Trail in southeast USA.
I've had my petzl for 27 years now. I've only had to replace the headband 7 times and the head 12 times.

Yes. I’m brand new to head torches (and I bought a belt torch too - which I don’t like) and fumbling through the settings is a pain!
Also, most of the settings I find useless (the white or red blinking lights are for what exactly??)
Think this was the first time I saw that intro. Like it a lot!

I appreciate that mate 🤙🤎
Looks a good one
I've had my bindi for 18months and I love it. CHEERS I DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT the 4 second lock thingy, looking forward to more reviews.

Led lenser for me,recommended by the fish locker. However I used to have a petzl, good equipment
