Actually you can use any USB charger, current rating doesn't matter. Headlamps as most certified electronics (FCC/CE) have a dedicated chip to regulate charging process that prevents it from destroying or harming the battery. Excluding Chinese knockoffs, they will stamp those marks on everything.

This is only good as a back up or emergency light, and it’s excellent at that. I;ve been using mine bike packing for a number of years now, what’s really good is that you can put it around your neck when turning in for the night. Leave it there, it;s no bother at all, but should you need light for any reason at all during the night, you won’t be fumbling around for a hand held light. It’s always yo hand and very easy to use. Should your main lamp fail you, you will have enough light from the Bindi to get you to a safer position, even over fairly rough ground I’ve found. Initially, I didn’t like the Bindi, but I have come to really enjoy it. It’s a great little light.

What is the color temperature of the light - neutral - cold?

So for an entire 50 mile trail run this light was great, at being carried in your backpack as your back up light?

Haha yep. We were required to have a back up light. I’ve ran with it much more than that though. I’d say everything in the review I still stand by.

I’ve been using this lamp for years now. I’ve found it convenient to keep it on around your neck when you turn in for the night. Should you require to get up in the night for any reason, you won’t be fumbling about in the dark for a light. It’s around your neck, put it on very quickly and do what you have to do. It’s no bother at all, around your neck and really convenient, being there to use when you want it. It’s a great little lamp.

Just bought one, when I charge it, it turns green shorty. Manual says green is full charge. Try to turn it on and then turns red, charge it and it goes from red to green quick.
Thinking about returning it soon. I’ll let it charge although it shows green. What’s your experience with the indicator?

Ricksdom sorry for the late reply, I would send it back. My indicator doesn’t turn green that fast while charging.

It actually charges now thankfully. Think it was just really dead or some how it jumped itself back to life.

How long does it last on a charge ? And what are the lumens ?

I am electrician and I disagree with the Amps part. You can use any charger, it will drain the ammount it can and no more.

Actually any charger will be ok.
