- A komebukuro is a drawstring bag traditionally used in Japan to bring rice offerings to temples and shrines. They were made of small pieces of cloth. This is my version of such a bag. The fabrics used for the bag (except for the lining) are made by @olympusthread

This is a really lovely pattern and very clear instructions. Thank you for sharing ❤😊
What a great bag and the fabrics are so gorgeous!
This is the shortest, fastest video on making these I’ve seen so far. Now it makes sense! Thank you!!
Thank you for this video it was clear and one of the best constructions that I have seen on rice bags and sew quick to watch giving me more time to make one for myself. ❤
So easy to follow your directions 😊
Thank you for your beautiful video to share with us( so beautiful rice bag💝)
🙏👌💝
Thank you very much! A brief and excellent tutorial!
You're very welcome! Thanks for watching!
Many thanks , great video easy to follow, it answered my questions regarding adding the lining.
Thank you for easy instructions
Beautiful - I love it. But doesn't the rice come out of the corners? Did I miss the sewing of the corners (I watched twice)
Very nice. You have make a beautyful piece createt. 🥰😇 Greatings from Bavaria in Germany
Thank you for sharing
Great tutorial, thanks🎉
Such an interesting way to construct this bag! I would love to see the finished corners more clearly. I think they may be slightly boxed? I like that idea so much.
🙏👌 thank you soo much !

Thank you 💕

But what about the corners?? Didn't see you end up sewing any of them at all 🤷
Yes ! I also wonder about that ! 🧐😅👍🏼
do you think I can do a similar pattern but without a drawstring? instead wanted to just have handles, do you think it would look weird or throw off the whole look of the bag ?
thanks!
Gorgeous. Tho I’ll have to slow it down. Well worth it tho. Thank you.
Do you happen to also have written instructions? Easier to lay out as sewing
Would have been good if it was a little slower.
I found that impossible to follow 😩
