  • This video shows how you can make some decorative fabric flower ends for drawstring cord ends - these look great on bags or as tassels. They hide the knots and can also have some filling and beads added for extra decor. ......Have fun!

Even though black on black (flower and your top), I was able to follow your directions and created a lovely end for my bag cording. Thank you!

Such a wonderful tutorial. I have never seen this before. You have managed to show us a technique that is unique and gives such a lovely finish to the drawstring bag. It reminds me of a rose bud. Thank you for the sheer joy and happiness you exude when you share a teaching tutorial with your viewers.

Thank you! I make jewelry pouches for friends and family. I love this! I use the brocade that is very silky and tends to fray. I may purchase some velvet.

A great tutorial! Constructive criticism: try to hold the item still and not bounce it in your hands. It’s difficult to see the flower unless it’s held still. But thanks so much for this yummy tutorial!

Lovely idea. I never would have thought of that. I have made many drawstring bags and always didn’t like the look of the knots. Thank you so much for sharing your ideas.

This is great. One tip: when you are holding something to show it to us, please hold it still. When you move it around or shake it, it’s harder to see. 😊

There’s a very easy way to do something similar to this. Difficult to explain it here. There are a few variations. We call it “ latkan” in India.

I had a hard time seeing some of this it was dark fabric and dark thread...if you used lighter fabric and lighter thread I think people can see it better ...I really did not understand the closing part of the flower..you do have some cute bags..
